I've recently decided to start weekly contests. Members create a signature based on a preselected theme and submit it to a new topic every week. Users then vote on the signatures, and the winner will be featured on the main website. Some general rules follow below
Size: maximum 400 by 150
Colors: any colors you want
Content: no nudity or swearing
Theme: preselected, will be announced in the weekly topic
- Each week there will be a new topic for the SOTW. The topic will stay open for one week. If nobody is on to close the topic at that time, all entries and posts after 1 week will be deleted.
- Voting topics will remain open for approximately 24 hours. All votes after that time will be deleted
- All signature comments should go in the voting topic. Do not post in the main SOTW entry topic unless you are entering a graphic
- After voting, the winner will choose next weeks theme. If the winner cannot choose a theme in the alloted time, a freestyle competition will be held.
- The winner's signature will be featured on the main page of Abstracted.View for one week, with a link to the corresponding forum topic.
- Only 1 entry per member is allowed. You can change your entry, however, until the entry date expires.
