Silence and Solitude...

This is all he wished for at this moment in time. The recent wave of events that had led to this moment nearly left him crushed, naught but a souless shell that went though a lifetime of happenings in a mere day. The way people treated him is what hurt the most, yet it was only because of the magic he weilded. Sounds kind of stupid to anyone else, then again, they don't have the same feeling for nature as the Elves do. Elves thrive on nature, basicly making it their source of life.

But what did it matter, it was all in the past now....

He sat silent, his back straight and set against a large darkwood tree within the woods and his feet under his very figure. The sun played games with shadows as they danced on the earth before his eyes. The leaves above his head interveining every now and then as they kept the light from catching the shadows. There was no sound, no annoyances. Only a swift, yet calm breeze that touched his cheek ever so lightly. Like ghostly fingers brushing against your skin. Yet it was warm and soothing and had the slight scent of blossoms. A sweet, yet sour smell that welcomed anyone in this wood.
The leaves parted momentarily, as if to give the sun a glimpse of what lies beneath their protection. It shrouded him in a ray of light, bathing his pale skin in its golden rays. It revealed a face drawn in purpose. The cheeks were sunk into his jawline a slight bit. Leaving a small rounded chin at the end. His nose was pointed, but yet small to a degree. It was one of the things that supported a single cloth that ran around his head and over hsi eyes. A piece of bright blue silk, created in the Treetop. It happened to glimmer like the stars, giving off little bursts of light here and there as he moved. The Obisidan hair flowed to the side with the wind, as if to wave its farewell as it departed. The upperhalf was kept in place by the silk. Tied at the right side of his head, the knot located on the right temple. Seems strange to have a cloth over one's eyes, even if you were blind...

"Yai!! Let us get going. We need to stop at the nearest town and gather rations, we are short on our three day supply"

He spoke in a calm, soothing voice as he called out into the wood. His right hand shifted softly, coming from within the folds of his robes. Revealing smooth, yet pale skin. His thin fingers lifted slowly, coming parallel to his shoulder before stopping its forward movement. His lips came from their drawn line, mumbling softly. The words in-audible.
To heed his words, three sole pebbles began to vibrate on the earth. Lain back to his left embedded within the soil. They finall cracked free of their earthy prison, floating idly in motion like a spectre's spirit. Finally coming to rest over his palm. They came together momentarily, forming a larger pebble in its own right, before splitting into three once more...

"I am coming. Geez, Elves are the most impatient race I have ever known.."

A high pitched squall emitted into the silence, breaking its very being as Fero stood slowly on his feet, yet keeping the stones in his right hand. Taking the time to brush the dirt and muck from his glittering, blue robes just as a small bundle of fur walked from the tree behind him. It was short, about a foot in height. A long brown tail swooshed side to side, its end split into three like a wicked whip. Its body was thin, each of its hands and feet had three small toes. Up towards its head, two good sized, bright green eyes. More up then that, two very large and long ears, about as tall as the being itself. Thin stripes of black crossed here and there across its body, as thet helped bring out the look of aggrivation on its face...

"What were you doing that whole time Yai?"

"I was peeing ok!!"

"....."

"On the very tree you were sitting at too might I add....wanna look?"

Yai threw a sly grin upon his face, His gleaming eyes gave a look of pleasure and glee until one of the pebbles launched themselves into Yai's head.

"Be grateful your little mess didn't get on me. Or these two pebbles would take place of those plates you have for eyes..."

Fero dropped his right hand. The small rocks fell to the earth with a soft tap. Not held up by the magic that he weilded. He walked a few feet until he came to the Silver steed that was given to him. Its mane also glimmered along with his threw himself upon its back in a smooth and graceful movement.

"Come...we must make haste."

As soon as he spoke, Yai leapt into the air. Landing on the trunk of a nearby tree before pushing off of that and landing on Fero's shoulder. Its furry face mirrored a slight hint of anger, yet it knew Fero was joking....or was he? None the less, it sat on his robes, tail swooshing side to side again as their steed began a slow trot. A few hours later, they emerged from the wood, and a town lay before their very eyes....
