I'm a mac guru so let me get my input in. It all really started back a couple months ago when Steve Job announced that Intel will start making the newe processers for macs since IBM have disappointed apple in its progress. SInce the presentation was running on OSX but on an Intel, and that Mac would be working with Intel, it was then that people saw the oppurtunity to start to hack OSX and run it on a PPC. Why run OSX u may ask, ihts because Mac has some of the best pro application editing tools there are, plus the Operating system is great. Now, from what I have heard, this emulation is pretty bad in terms of performance since it needs a bad-a** machine to run it good. I don't pay attention to this as I use a mac on a daily basis, but that is what I heard. It is illegal to hack an OS, soo this emulation is illegal. |
