I am your obsidian reverie... Posts: 257 Group: Elite Member Member #43 Joined: January 14, 2005	Again, his left foot left the safety of the branch for the air as Gen flew towards the heavens. His body swiftly adapting to the movement by small adjustments made as he took off from each platform. It may be an arm movement, or a foot placement. Yet either way, he was slowly gaining speed before a soft whirring reached his ears. Hitting his next landing spot, Gen dropped in a crouch in the treetop, grasping a branch with his left hand as his right reached back to the pack around his waist for a Handle-less Kunai. Cool metal meeting his right index finger as it wrapped about his flesh, awaiting the chance to be used. Whatever it was, he couldn't see it. Yet he felt its presence as it--- The thought was calmed for the slightest of moments as Gen leapt to his left just as a black object sped past his posistion. His left hand clasped onto the wood as he freely let his body fall, the right shot out towards the object as a sound of metal clinging against metal echoed out in the night. Small sparks were witnessed before his eyes as the Genin swung around the branch in a swing-like motion before halting up-side down. His eyes scanned the forest below for the object which sounded like a weapon....nothing. With a grunt, his figure was flipped back upright on the branch by a swift pull from his forearm, finally bringing him back to his original crouching posistion on the branch as he scanned the opposite area with keen eyes. It was then that he found it, embedded in a trunk about four feet away, was a Fuuma Shuriken, still spinning against the wood of a tree. Its blades taking off bark from its holder as it struggled against the Handle-less Kunai which pinned it through the center, to the tree. "Hmm...someone is there, and that someone is going to pay for that..." Without rethinking his decision, Gen continued his trek through the treetops, steadily coming closer and closer...
