Hmm, that might be one reason why im a professional procrastinator. But IM really has become part of my second life, im a different person online than I am in real life. Maybe thats because what I come up with online, goes on inside my head, which people in real life cant see. Anyway, this thread has turned out rather successful, even if we're really off topic. I like this general discussion, being able to shift seemlessly from one topic to another. Just like how it works in real life. Too much am I restricted by the usual interface/flow of threads. Make a new one, post on topic, people reply on topic. It just gets tiring. When things get sidetracked and free from the restrictions assumed/imposed on us (as long as the discussion that follows is tasteful) , conversation gets a lot more interesting. I dont know if im making sense. |
