I just downloaded Windows Live Messenger BETA, <SARCASM>and to my surprise it was the same software as MSN Messenger.</SARCASM> I have a feeling that just like Vista, Window's messenger service will also be dropped. BETA roughly means a stable piece of software in which more features will be added... Stable, sure but Windows Live Messenger BETA is a carbon copy of MSN Messenger. Just an offbeat note-the United States Army uses Linux which was invented by a five year old self-proclaimed genius whom lived/lives in Europe... Why can't Lord Gates make a stable system when he was 30 years old? If we did use Windows OS on the battlefield, we'd be in a hell of a pickle. Just think if the government's severs were Windows server... crashing every other byte of sent packet. I'm not even getting into how vulnerable Windows servers are... PS. Support our troops
