I was, about a year or so ago, reading Digital Fortress. There is an encrypted message in the back of the book that the supercomputer used to decrypt messages couldn't crack, the code: 128-10-93-85-10-128-98-112-6-6-25-126-39-1-68-78 When decrypted using Caesar's box it reads
When read from top to bottom and left to right... "We are watching you" (We as in the NSA is watching you.) Digital Fortress is interesting to any person who wants to learn about NSA, cryptography, super computers. Wikipedia has released an article about it: here. PS. I never read books but this sparked my interest so I picked it up. |
