Well before getting into details ill leave you all with an update: June 13th: Supposably a huge show at "t-birdstudious" with Across Five Aprils (Indionala Records) and Phoenix Mourning (Metal Blade Records) after weeks of practice, we show up to the venue....the place is a trash the place is smaller then a 2 bedroom apartment (emphasis added) you get the picture...my dad shows up..happens to be there are kids on every corner of that trash shooting up on cocaine....the place doesnt provide mics to amp up our amps.....after waiting for out turn.....everyone leaves....pretty much there were probably 20 people watching us...we sold 350$ worth of tickets to play in that S****.... my dad watches and we mess up miserably..........on my way back home my dad tells me I have to quit the band, because he doesnt like the "certain lifestyle" that comes along with it. I understand what he meant, but that venue was a mistake, not to mention that whole drug thing wasnt our fault...plus we didnt know it would be that bad...to top it off.... he says i shouldnt waiste my time on the band anymore..because he says "he thinks i deserve better" some crap like that....... i obviously disagreed and tried explaining that its not the truth and that well do better to check our venues next time...I get home.. my mom sits down on the table with papers showing all of my Temporary internet files..............well Im not allowed to be on myspace.... and she found out I was on it all this time.....by printing out all the comments...but my cousin was at home at the moment and he backed me up and explained some made up story...she almost bought it...but then Zeerus left a comment (not blaming u dude, just saying teh story) saying how he hopes i come back from colombia quick.....to be continued |
