Is it just me or is the classic centered look getting a little bit boring. I hate seeing centered designs. But I’m not talking about web design, I’m talking about clothing design. I spend a lot of my time at the mall and frequent stores like Hot Topic, PacSun, and Zumiez quite often. They all carry shirts with unique designs and quite frankly make all other clothes feel old and outdated. They make use of unique element positioning, with many design sstarting around the shoulder and wrapping around the rib cage, or starting at the waistline and moving upwards, and then there’s the popular corner explosion look. A lot of the time simple centered designs just aren’t attractive. There’s really no point to this article, I just needed something to write about, and I also went to the mall this weekend and spent a lot of time looking at new shirts. The positioning just happened to catch my eye. |
