Here are some cool easter eggs for those of you interested in that kind of stuff. So far I've found some for Photoshop, Internet Explorer, and Firefox. There are more that I will post as I find them Photoshop Holding down Ctrl (in Windows) or the Command key (on Mac versions) in Photoshop while selecting Help --> About or Photoshop --> About Photoshop (on Mac versions) from the menu shows a different version of the "About" screen with a special graphic. This graphic is different in each version, and is based on the code name for that version (e.g., "Dark Matter" for Photoshop CS or "Big Electric Cat" for version 4). This also works in ImageReady and several other Adobe applications. In Photoshop CS, holding down Alt while selecting "Palette Options" on the layer palette will open a window with a small picture of Merlin. Internet Explorer In any web browser based on the Internet Explorer browser type about: mozilla in the address bar, and a blank blue page will show up. This is a spoof on the Blue Screen of Death added in to keep users away from using Mozilla Browsers Firefox Likewise, if you type about: mozilla int he address bar of a mozilla based browser, the Book of Mozilla will pop up. The Book of Mozilla is a reference to bible versus that have been changed to relate to browser development. In total, there are three official randomized pages, but more are added all the time. |
