 ALT codes are used to make signs or symbols not found on keyboards, to use an ALT code press and hold ALT now press 152 you should get this after releasing ALT, you should get this character- ˙

you can use these ALT codes to enhance security or in a graphic

another way to use ALT keys is to go to Start --> Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> Character Map... click a symbol or letter, press select --> copy, then paste the symbol. The short cut to paste a symbol is to press and hold CTRL then press "v" on the keyboard

NOTE: Alt codes will only work when you have NUM lock on and use the Keypad!
