Yes I live in Illinois.

ACen is friggin amazing if your an anime fan. They have directors, producers, voice actors, musicians come in and talk about their work.

One of the guests this year was Steve Blume, the voice of Spike from Cowboy Bebop. He also held the door for my friends to their room at the hotel.

Other guests:
Caitlin Glass - Winry from Full Metal Alchemist
Vic Mignogna - He did music for DBZ, Orphen, Spriggan, Steel Angel Karumi, Noir, Excel Saga, Evangalion (Directors Cut)
Hiroaki Inoue - Founder of GAINEX (Famous anime studio. They did all the Tenchi Muyo series and movies, Perfect Blue, among others)

Lots of other guests. The voice of Chi in Chobits was going to come but she had a shift in her work schedule and couldnt make it.

 Then I can't go to that...It seems cool and isn't David Lucas the voice of Spike from Cowboy Bebop? That's what my friend told me and she is a BIG BIG Cowboy Bebop fan.

Steve is probably best known as "Spike" from Cowboy Bebop, "Tom" (the
robot) from Toonami, "Roger Smith" from Big O, "Flamedramon," "Guilmon"
and a pile of other "mons" and kids from 3 seasons of Digimon, the voice of 7-11 (yes, the convenience store!) and most recently, "Jamie" from Megas XLR (on Cartoon Network). In the game world, he's played Crash Bandicoot, Pitfall Harry, Ethan Hunt, Wolverine, Jabba the Hutt and tons of other weirdos we've all come to know and love.

Thats quoted from the www.acen.org website.

This clears things up alot better. Steve Blume is sometimes credited under different names. One of which being David Lucas. The link below shows proof.

speaking of meeting each other, buy a webcam get MSN Messenger and start a webcam session, then start an audio session (gotta have a relatively good mic) and talk

i'd like to meet Balinor, Shadow12one, and Zeerus, ofcourse... all the members of WFD should get MSN messenger then invite everyone into one conversation, sure it might get a little laggy but atleast we could all talk, 70 people on a messenger is due to lag the best of computers, lol
