Hey All, I've decided to start sending out a weekly newsletter with everything a member needs. Web design related news, links, downloads, and more. There will also be important forum news for all of the members. First off, I just started a new class today, QBasic Computer Programming 1 V5. It's looking pretty good, and though the language is pretty much dead I'm learning a lot and having tons of fun. If anyone's interested I may be making a full blown RPG game sometime in the future. You know you're interested. And the class is short, so it won't take away much of the time I would usually dedicate to the forums. Also, Version 6 is almost complete, though I am thinking about scrapping the entire project to make room for other things. Namely a business portfolio website. I think the forums are stable enough right now to take the place of a community website. It's just a waste of valuable hosting space. I'd also like to say thanks for all of the members who are active. The RPG section is once again the most popular, though more people are starting to venture into the design areas. Finally, congratulations to our member of the week, Missingo, who has dedicated a lot of time to the forums. He has made 67 posts in about 2 weeks and has been really helpful. Keep it up and you may become a moderator. In other news, if you're a member on Blogger (http://blogger.com), check out the official WebFuzion Designs Blog, Vektorized (http://vektorized.blogspot.com), and start making some comments. I hope to have all of the staff members from the forums on there soon. Now, I mentioned it earlier, the RPG is getting pretty popular. In related news I have decided to help Rei (Bloody_Kitten) out with her new project, Athater (http://s10.invisionfree.com/Athater), a huge RPG community that should be promising upon completion. Please join and help set up everything. Finally, onto the design stuff. Business is doing well. I met with one of our older clients this past week, and we might be making another website for her (Dickens Divine), so look out for that in the near future. I may also be doing a website for a large homeowner’s community where they can keep track of homes, post neighborhood news, and more. And in case you missed last week's update I have a few other clients I'm working with in the background. Links

Hello, It's time for another weekly newsletter. Well, I'm a day late, but that's because I decided to spend time with my friends at the mall yesterday. Man it feels good taking a day away from the computer. Okay, well there's not much new news this week, just a few random things. Business: Shadow12One and I are in the process of wrapping up a project, which has been really stressfull by the way. And on the side I'm negotiating deals with some other new clients. Nothing has been finalized, but I'll keep you all updated. Forums: not much new going on in the forums. The most popular RPG, Silent Assassins, has pretty much been abandoned. On the other hand, a new RPG has begun in its place. As for the design part of the forums. Shadow12One has produced some truly amazing Cinema 4D renders in the past week or so and I plan on incorporating them in some wallpapers. Finally, I am almost finished developing a ChatBot for all of the users. Basically you download the program, boot it up, and begin chatting with the bot. The coding was not done by me, but created with the help of a friend. Also, I'm almost finished with a full length RPG which should be available for download by the end of the summer, depending on how much free time I have. Links: I have some pretty interesting links this week. A lot has been going on in my personal site ring, and some more well known bloggers have posted some interesting articles too.
As always, don't forget to visit my blog (...), and sign up for Blogger (...) while you're at it. That's all for now Zeerus |

It's time for another Weekly Newsletter I'm gonna keep everything short and simple this week. There's been a lot going on in the forums, so most of the newsletter will be focused around that. But I also have some business and personal news. I have no clue what inspired me to write a personal column. Forums: Anime_Chick, our veteran administrator, has temporarily left the forums to take a break from the net life. It can be addicting, and I understand where she's coming from. Due to that recent change she has been temporarily removed from the administrative position. Furthermore, Balinor has been promoted to Administrator and Shadow12One is now a global moderator along with Hacker-X. If anybody has any position concerns please send me a personal message on the forums. In other forum news, I will be opening a new forum category for programmers called 'The Coffee House'. There will be a forum for support and relaxation, and a forum for inspiration, as well as a few others inside. Finally, I intend to replace this newsletter with a new one that I can format with my own layout. Business: Business is still going strong. I have five solid clients and hope to have them all finished up and published by the end of the summer, though some still need a lot of work. It has also come to my attention that some forum members would like to work with me for the experience. Please send me a PM with some sample designs and any references you may have avialable. Personal: I went to the Apple Store yesterday and picked out my new computer. Now I just need to get the money for it. It's a 14" iBook with 512 MB of memory, 60 GIG of RAM, and Internal Bluetooth module, iLife '05, and more. It is awesome and my first experience with a Mac was great. Links
That's pretty much it for this week. Look out for that new category and keep on posting. And don't forget to visit my newly revived blog, with almost daily posting. http://textonic.blogspot.com Zeerus The WebFuzion Designs Staff |

Hi Everyone, time for an update. I realize that I haven't commited that much time or effort at all to the website, but that will all change pretty soon. First of all, I have a couple of huge projects coming up that I'm sure you'll all love. I'll be posting some new content, updating my blog more often, and you might even see a few new features coming pretty soon. First, we have a new domain name, www.abstracted-view.com. For the time being it redirects to the forums, and we should have it completely integrated soon. I would like to thank ScionStatic for donating this to us. Secondly, I need you all to help out as much as you can. I'm trying to do my part, but I also need you to help advertise, post content, etc. The forums can't grow if you don't help too. I also want to try and get all the veteran members active again. It's been a while since you've been on, and it's getting lonely without you. As a part of helping out I need you to post as much as possible. Link to us in your signatures on other websites, and generally help spread the word. I'll be posting some advertising material in the News & Updates section, so look out for those. That's all for now. I look forward to seeing you all again and can't wait to see this site flourish. That's right Kiddies, I'm back! Unless you read my blog, which you should, you probably don't know that I've been having some family problems recently, which has caused a ton of friction around my home. This combined with an extremely large amount of work (both business and school) has kept me extremely busy, not to mention the girlfriend wanting to speak with me every second of the day. Well, as you can imagine, all of this time away has given me the opportunity to think over a few things. First off, I'll be redesigning the WebFuzion Media website in time for the May 1st and CSS Reboot competitions, and a Textonic redesign should be coming shortly after that. Secondly, I've been working hard away at one website, but due to a lack of financial support (the original supporters have now backed out) the website will not be launching on April 1st as planned. Other than that, I have about a million design and web related ideas floating around in my head at any one time, and it's all very hectic. I'm not sure what the future holds for Abstracted.View, but I'd like to keep it going for as long as possible. If anyone's interested, I'd be more than happy to turn ownership of the forums over to someone temporarily. This would, of course, leave everything up to you, including advertising and promotion, though I'd like to see the current design stay. Anyway, send me a PM on the forums if you're interested in anything I've been rambling about. I'll try to get caught up on a lot of things this weekend, but I can't make any promises. Your friend (hopefully), Kevin S. aka Zeerus |
