read here: http://forums.ifskinzone.net/index.php?sho...0&#entry3428272 read here: http://news.google.com/news?q=windows+long...tab=nn&oi=newsr i'm posting as snakebite (its my brother's account, my account is in validating and i can't unvalidate it) so anyways, there's this new Windows Longhorn operating system, with RSS feeds and other things, its release is unknown at this time, but microsoft estimates that longhorn will come out in late 2006, its not clear (to me) why microsoft is keeping their new operating system under raps microsoft is also adding a Peer 2 Peer network into Longhorn, which is codenamed Avalanche, Avalanche is supposed to replace BitTorrent ps. the new operating system's codename is "'LongHorn", microsoft may release it under that name pps. microsoft, you seriously have to re-think what you name computers... this is extremely old. I've known about Longhorn since early 2004, and have posted about it many times on other forums. It is due out December 2006 and will not be named Longhorn. It has an RSS feed integration system, not an RSS feed itself. They still have tons of work to do to it and the first public demo was just released this weekend. I even posted it on Textonic |
