Im sure many of us,,, probably all of us have copied programs that are too expensive to buy... what do u many think about it?
Is it right? wrong? no comment? or does a man have to do what a man has to do.....?

I personally dont think its right....but not all of us have money to waiste on such expensive programs.... God knows I dont.

I too feel its not right, but I don't haved the money. I at one point I have bought a legit version of all the software I have, but don't have the money to buy upgrades (I am like the only shmuck I know who bought a legit version of Final Cut Pro). My feelings are mostly upseting, as this holds more truth to mac software as my dad recieves legit versions of window software. When I get money I like to buy the versions I copied so I have no guilt if I make money off using the program.

you know Microsoft and other big companies submit legit versions of software to limewire and other peer to peer networks, companies use it as a marketting tool and get more money in the end from sbmitting their software to peer to peer networks

hmm I dont know how submitting legit FULL copies of programs would be a promotional tool, but I can see them submitted the trial versions. At the time when this thread started, I was more of a 'no comment' person. Its not right, thats for sure. Its definately wrong. I remember this ad when I was watching a dvd. It had some girl downloading a movie, then it flicked through various scenarios. These scenarios were things like people stealing cars, someone walking into a video rental and tucking a dvd into his jacket, etc. You wouldnt do those things, so why do piracy. That ad kind of got to me. Tekimagic is going along the right lines, buying legit versions. I dont know about you guys but I used to think of it as an 'extended' version of a trial.
