Dedicated member Posts: 329 Group: Elite Member Member #70 Joined: May 18, 2005	Um..when I get my domain name for exapmple: Panicmedia.org and My webhostig is dreamhost.com/panicmedia how would I make the domain name also appear on the bottom, what I mean is: How do I make the domain name cover the dreamhost subdomain and also cover it on the bottom were it says the file direction...for example: www.panicmedia.com (CONTENT) Bottom bar: dreamhost.com/panicmedia I want to change it so it can say Bottom bar: www.panicmedia.com as well.. please help..

Posts: 1,596 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: July 31, 2004	that should be an automatic function that takes place once your DNS resolves tot he right place. if you buy your domain name from the same company that you are hosting with, it should do it by itself if not, you may have to contact your host and ask them how to assign your current domain name to your hosting package IE, these forums are not hosted by me at all, but it uses a domain name I created. this was set up by assigning A records to the subdomain av.webfuziondesign.com and www.av.webfuziondesign.com A records basically point a domain name to another place. you'd be best off just aksing your host about it though, because this is all I know, sorry
