It's come down to this. I cant decide on a name for my design identity. Something doesnt click with the name studiohybrid. Id rather words like 'studio', 'designs', 'media' and 'studios' not be in the name. I want 'graphic design studio' as a subheading, so I dont exactly want 'studio' to be in the name. Seeing them in use would help a lot more, but the image is rather large so I'll just post a link.

[the colours may be a bit mucked up because my monitor on my other computer shows similar colours the same, so I thought I was selecting the same one each time]

Names that I like and are considering-

Juice4
Studio4 (not too keen on studio)
Vitamin4
Project4
Concept4
Energy3

[btw- yes, I like the numbers. I'm not going for a 1337 style name, its just that numbers gives it all a different feel. Plus its easier to say a word and number as opposed to two words (imo)].

The image shows a range of colours and how they could be used, but its still just an early idea so it may not be very clean.

Post the one you like best, and give comment on all that you like if possible.

Playing around with one of the new names, I came up with this which i rather like-

page test

once again, its just an early idea, so I was just trying to flesh it out.

Most of these names are unrelated to web/graphic design, but I feel that they give off a good vibe. What I'm looking for is an organic, dynamic sort of name. I'm trying to give the impression that my main focus is colour schemes and visual presentation/layout. I found that studiohybrid was feeling a bit cold and sterile, but I might just play around with some colour variations to see how it works out.

One more thing, I'd prefer a name which could go with my logo (the paintbrush one). That's one of the most thought out logos i've ever made so it'd be a shame to see it go to waste.

StudioHybrid does 'work' for me, but does it seem strange to see 'STUDIOHYBRID' with 'graphic design studio' as a small subheading? Because then your kinda thinking 'well duh, I know its a studio, no need to point it out twice'. Getting rid of the sub heading is not an option, ive warmed to it. Any other suggestions would be helpful too.

to be honest with you, I think Studio Hybrid was your best bet...I think it sounds nicer, more vivid, more professional....and I have never been really fond of names with numbers...but if I had to pick I would pick energy 3...but But if I were to come to a site that had energy3.com on the left and Studiohybrid.com on the right I would be more eager to see whats in Studiohybrid.com
thats just my take on the name
Its too late its too late....they wont let go...they wont let go...follow my foot steps through that open door...open door....It must be very under the heart that makes this place so insane youll find in time that the gates have been upon
