I, along with my partner Roger, have finally redesigned our firm portfolio website. The entire process, from beginning to end, took almost three months. We went through a long planning stage in which three new designs were proposed. In the end we decided to simply revive our previous design with some new features. Instead of expanding all the way down the page, the website now has a rounded footer to add some sort of aesthetic separation between the content and background. The two main columns are now separated by a simple, unobtrusive drop shadow, which also contains the entire content area. The navigation has also seen a major change. Instead of using an image map the navigation now utilizes unordered lists, with some simple styling. You'll also find that the banner has been updated with a new logotype (Pigiarniq) and an as of now empty content box. We are still deciding on what to put there. The portfolio has also received a minor update withs ome fresh content and a new look. The entire website validates as XHTML 1.0 Strict and the CSS, while it has some warnings, is also valid. The site makes use of no tables for structural formatting. Finally, we now use an AJAX contact form so our visitors can easily stay in touch. Future features: mailing list, rotating ads, client testimonials Click here to visit WebFuzion Media Note: If anyone plans on linking to either Abstracted.View or WebFuzion Media please use the appropriate names, Abstracted.View (note the period) and WebFuzion Media (WebFuzion is one word with a capital F) |

I've actually stopped development of the new stuff to work on another big project of mine, which I'm hoping will be pretty big. |
