Well....I went to a sepcial site that Bird-e gave me called W3schools.com great site...it teaches you the basics...but obviously it wasnt enough.. I went to the library after reading a complete bookg on CSS and practicing and practicing and coding and playing with it....I can officially say I know how to code BASIC CSS. I expected it to be alot harder...but it was actually easy. Along with CSS i learned XHTML another webstandard. So I can now say I know the basics of: CSS and XHTML and have full knowledge of HTML I have created a test site and after validating it camed out XML and CSS valid, which is pretty awesome. So now that thats done, I will begin to work on my project...only one problem.....I dont have a name....crap. Anyways Im really proud of myself  I know some of you really dont care, but Im just so happy I was able to learn the basics of these wonderful language and can now HAND code a site using these codes. I was never able to hand code until now. Its like a bind has been taking from eyes...while I was looking over Text Pattern It was like super easy to read and comprehend before it was chinese to me. So here are a few name suggestions I came up with for a name please comment and advise. Liquid Blur Media Project 363 Project Coherent StandardsMedia Blue Liquid Media Sirens of light designs Inferred Media Studio what Clairvoyant Media JekelHyde Media Panic Studio Project Fascination Scarse Media Well this is pretty much it..please choose your fav. Whatever it is I choose will be out by May 4th 2005. And this time Im serious..I believe setting dates and goals is a step towards maturity. well laters |

but it helped in something..like I said w3 schools helped but the book I read helped even more. |

I strongly disagree.. W3c school teaches basics... I thinked it helped me a bit. As for the names I already chose the name... I got kind of tired of waiting a week for a response. Once I release my site youll know what its called. |

Well.... progress has re begun..but full blown this time.. you see...I was having a bit of a problem figuring out how to put layers within layers.... :mouth-shut: ....cause like....I thought I knew everything..but that was never properly explained to me.. and I was trying to figure out a way to do it...and FINALLY!!! thanks to bird- e he showed me how it was done...thanks alot man.. that was the last piece of info inorder to begin. Ive been working on the layout all day.....and Ive been checking its validation...and so far everythings come out XML and CSS valid...but im far from done...I plan to really take my time, since im having a hard time figuring out in what way to lay out the contenct, and what kind of stuff I want...you know...all that space..and nothing interesting to put..lol So Im just working on a good layout for the content section..and color scheme... alright well just giving an update.. |
