I've decided to start a regular feature here at Abstracted.View called the Community Thread, in which the majority of active members are expected to participate. The topic, along with location, will change from time to time, so check each individual forum to keep on top of things. So to kick this thing off, the first official Community Thread Topic is the BlackBerry Crackdown. As many of you may know, mobile device distributor BlackBerry is being sued for patent infringement. A win by the plaintiff means the termination of BlackBerry service. Millions of people, including most, if not all government employees, use these devices on a daily basis to keep up with email and other forms of messaging and browsing. BlackBerry's are so addictive that by doing some research you'll quite often come across the term CrackBerry, because they are addictive like Crack. They are also known to cause hand and wrist problems known as BlackBerry Thumb. So what I want to know is, what do you think of this whole ordeal? What does the future hold for BlackBerry? Spill your guts, I want an intelligent, thought provoking discussion For more information you can visit http://blackberry.net |
