I, for instance, think Marilyn Manson is great, while he hates him, mainly because of his image. He's more into the classic rock, like Zep, which I like too sometimes, but I'm more into heavy rock, post-hardcore, metal, punk, etc.

In an interview he clearly claimed that his goal in life was to stop christianity in general. He also stated when he was smaller his mom told him if he didnt read his bible or something like that before bed that satan would come and pay him a visit. Marylin Manson(Brian Conner...I believe) stated that he wanted it to occur so bad. Overall I think hes a nutcase....his music quite incredible..Ill admit if alone in a car and his song came in I would just stay listening to it.... But remember evil doesnt always come in the form or ugly, or bad, or with horns and etc...Evil is protrayed through beauty or what seems good because the human race is tought to believe that evil is ugly...and so people thing w/e is beatuful or is great...is good. Although most consider themselves above the statistic...its quite true. and I dont think he has a unique mind.....I think hes an idiot. Theres nothing unique about him...hes just another singer...in another band...no biggy..Ive heard other band or singer that are way better and scarier than him. He is very intelligent though... during the whole issue about the two school kids shooting class mates,, Marylin Manson was immediatly put under the spot light....and it was later proved that those 2 teens didnt even like marylin manson. After everything was cleared up Marylin Manson was interviewed and they asked him..."If you could sit down and talk to the two teens before they commited the crime and suicide what would you say?" He responded and said..." I wouldnt say an absolute word to them, I would sit down and listen to what they have to say..thats all they wanted." In reality we could say that Marylin Manson is a very smart man...I mean he has the money the fame, and he seems to know a good amount about common logic, after all when he was younger he was a christian himslef. But he chose to rebel......from any other persons perepective he would seem just like a singer trying to be unique...and plus hes successful...but if you go down to what hes really all about..its a whole other story...anyways sorry for making such a long post...lol

I think his beef with Christianity is that people shouldn't be obsessed with the religion, but rather with promoting the good beliefs behind them. I believe in stopping Christianity, not because I'm demonic or anything, but because people become too wrapped up in the religion instead of the things it represents. I believe he may be the same way

Then go to wikipedia...and type in his name...Maryline Manson is Reverand of the Satanic church..read and see my friend... Im sorry you wnat to stop christianity..i dont see why....but hey I guess some people dong like GOd....I know what u mean..people just get wrapped in the religion not what it represents....and most of us are labled as hypocrites....Marylin Manson is clear in what hes about...but people still dont see it..
