Dedicated Member Posts: 512 Group: Admin Member #50 Joined: March 6, 2005	A friend (I met on MSN) owns a site which used to be called Metal Gear Solid forum (ring any bells?). I don't know all the facts but I saw on my friend's forums that members were provoking someone who was mentally disturbed due to family problems and such to commit suicide. So live on the internet the widely known gamer drank a gallon of antifreeze and broadcasted this to people who didn't think he'd actually do it, although many people urged him not to do it. The gamer died within a matter of seconds of drinking the antifreeze. Soon after the Metal Gear Solid forums were aparently investigated by the FBI and my friend cooperated with the authorities, turning over database and chat logs. I was apart of the forums because I was going to skin my friend's forums. I was never contacted by the FBI because I wasn't involved in the incident. The site has been renamed to make certain the it will never be asociated with the suicide. I suppose you are thinking that I have made this entire story up, well search around and you'll find I haven't made a thing up. Some posts begged him not to do it and other posts said something to the degree of "you won't do it...". I personally didn't know him but when I first heard about this I couldn't believe it. I haven't talked with the owner since what happened.
