Do you like the color scheme, graphics, and other little touches? Let me know what you like and what you don't like

I want to add a dark or mid blue background beyond the borders, and maybe a light grey inside the border, with blue and green alternating maintitle images. I know the style is whored, but it looks good. web 2.0, baby

There are a few things that need to be changed though......the smilies are extremely dull looking. Shouldn't they be a little larger with a gloss effect? Well, thats just my 2 cents. If you want any help re-doing anything, and you are in dire need of help you have my email and messengers.

Dedicated member Posts: 420 Group: Elite Member Member #76 Joined: June 25, 2005	I think Triakis nailed it for me as well. The emoticons. On other forums, id use the emoticons regularly. I've noticed that here on AV, thats not really the case, and it begins to make the posts seem less lively, less inviting, as well as the members themself. Everything is in a 'neutral' tone, and it makes it hard for people to interpret the posts properly. With the current and past sets, I found that when they were used, it seemed kinda cheesy and out of place. Maybe thats because ive come to associate the AV crew as emotionless. The emoticon design itself is alright. Looking at them now, a lot of them seem pointless to me. I personally dont like overly detailed emoticons, preferring plain, simple ones. Black beady eyes too. Originally, I wasnt entirely sure about the design. I mean, Im a fan of white, but I was finding it hard to make a transition from the old design to the current one. The thing that hit me most was there were no clear 'divisions' as there was in the old design. Everything blending seemlessly, either a good or bad thing. Im used to it now, and its working for me. Like the others suggested, maybe add some tone to give it more depth.

The light template: blue, orange, white, gray plastic like interface. This template is not done. I'll have a preview up soon. The dark template: blue, dark gray, done but maybe redesigned. Which ever template you guys choose I'll make some fancy icons and might even release a tutorial on how I made them.
