Well in recent news: I dont really think any one cares, but Im just trying to bring about some discussion. I havent coded CSS since the completion of Cloud Nine Media... Am I ashamed? Yes I am As a webdesigner, I should have been practicing on selectors which is something I never went to deep in while I started learning CSS. Learning and coding is the only way we can become better webdesigners. Its important that we CONSTANTLY pick up something new on CSS coding or whatever code we study, weekly. Think about it, if we just learn the basics of CSS and just stay with that info and not add to our inventories, we will never grow as webdesigners. I think we should make a habit to commit one day instead of surfing around on the web or talking to people on our messengers, we should just focus on learning 1 new concept, (ATLEAST) at that pace we will continue to learn more and more, and by the time we know it well be as talented as the guys from 9 rules, or Stylegala. Why do i think this? because if you look on the sites they have, there always blogging about some new coding method or hack, or something new. If we want to be web-professionals, then lets copy the masters..... always be hungry for knowledge, and continue learning and learning. So the the point: LEt us hold our selves accountable by atleast posting 1 new thing we have learned that has to do with webdesign EACH WEEK. Its not too much, so from now on if you agree to this pact, you will post atleast something new you have learned to do. Also, you should point out in what it is you want to learn next, building goals helps mature your mind. - I want to learn all there is about selectors - Work on the PHP tutorial inorder to make my site look right in different webbrowser Who agrees? |
| Its too late its too late....they wont let go...they wont let go...follow my foot steps through that open door...open door....It must be very under the heart that makes this place so insane youll find in time that the gates have been upon | |

yes, I have a few ideas. Fixed footers are extremely difficult, lemme look up a few fixes I have for it. I've had a similar problem before. As for browser compatibility, just make a different stylesheet for FF and IE and usually you're all set, then use my browser dependant CSS to serve it up to each one |
