Well hello there. :D

I saw that you had made it home safe and sound. Looked like you had a great time across the pond.
Home safe and sound after 5 months :) Geez don't tell she that can't be mentioned I had a good time. LOL

Have been enjoying some really nice weather since getting home, I sure hope it continues into the fall. My oldest son started a Paramedic course last month, so far that seems to be going well. He has had so much on his plate over the last three years, I don't know where he finds the time/energy to take on yet another life changing choice. Amazing young man :) Penny Lane turned three last week. LOL Now you're all filled in on me. :wave

Isn't that the truth.
I just wish there was a way to make the changes be for the better every time. :)

Still breaking 90 degrees here during the day. I'm ready for some 70s.
Mowed down a field of weeds yesterday and I could hardly breath this morning. I never had allergies growing up. WTH is up with that! This growing old is for the birds.

I don't think it hits 90 very often here :) Those freakin' weeds get ya every time! Allergies suck!

Looks like another 90° day tomorrow.
I think this may be the last one for the year. Posted Image

I like that trivia site you found, but I have to say I have to guess a lot. I set one up for my family to try. :D

It's fun, and the more you do the easier it gets to guess ;) Thanks for playing mine. Each one is differant so if you put the link to yours up I'll play it too. If you want to keep it just family though I understand. LOL I like that the site keeps the monthly stats :)

Here's the link to mine for anyone passing thru here who might like to give it a go. http://www.funtrivia.com/private/main.cfm?tid=100399 LOL I have it on both of my Tidbits forums (though it's linked to my Yuku one) and Facebook.

Thanks Marcia.

Well, started my 3rd class last night.. I am now going to school Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as well as working.. I am hoping that all these classes will make me competitive with the 20 and 30 somethings when I go looking for a full time permanent job.

School... Yuck! ;)
I always disliked school, except for a couple classes. I liked math and science, but by far recess was my favorite subject.

Going to be lucky if it gets to 70 today. Actually feels a bit chilly this morning.

what I am taking is all business computer courses.. I took Excel I and Word I, now I am taking Word II, Excel II and they added Outlook(which is a scheduling program) when I am through with these classes, I am supposed to get Quickbooks, PowerPoint and Acess. I made it clear I will take anything they are willing to teach me.. This will make me more competitive with the younger generations.

Those kinds of courses I could handle B-) I did a three month set of office computer courses at compu college in 2001, loved every second of it. Didn't help me get a job though. I wanted to take the full 9 month Office Admin course load, but my then better half wouldn't agree to the cost LOL I should have done it anyway, he was working in India and wouldn't even have known. :whistle

I will never get another chance like this, to take all these classes. I checked in to the one place up here who offers all these programs, but at a cost of $2,500, over the course of 3 days.. No one really learns that way. Where I am going now is 2 days a week each course for 1½ each class. The best part of it is that it is part of the MASST program, so I am getting paid to go to class. Among the things I am going to learn is how to build, create and maintain a website.. I am looking forward to that.
