Today was much better, didn't even get to the 70s. Rest of the week will be low to mid 70s. That is perfect weather, if you ask me. (I don't even want to think what this July will be like. We're on water restrictions here, so can only water twice a week. No way to keep the grass alive when it gets really hot with just 2 days. :(

we have red flag warnings up because we have had no rain. The powers that be are concerned that there will be, to quote them, "CONDITIONS ARE OCCURRING OR WILL
OCCUR WHICH COULD LEAD TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF LARGE AND DANGEROUS
FIRES. " If we do get a storm, and there is a lightening strike, it more than likely will start a forest fire up here. Considering how hot and dry it is up here, its probably going to be a bad fire season this summer.

Its supposed to be in the high 80's tomorrow.. I am home all day, so I will nto have any relief from the heat.. I am probably going to spend the day in the bathroom since its the coolest room in the house.

Wow, with all the snow you get up there all winter long, it sure doesn't take long to dry it out. I'm expecting fires to start popping up here soon too. Saw where New Mexico has already got a big one.

I always keep a squirt bottle nearby when it gets hot. That and a fan make your own little air conditioning.
It's been a pretty cool Spring here so far. Hope it stays that way for a few more weeks.

the cold water comes out of the taps up here at around 49-50°.. I sluice my face and run water on my wrists to cool down some.. and when its really bad, I take a cold wet cloth and put it on the back of my neck.. It helps some, but the night are what is deadly.. Neither of us has had any decent sleep in over a week because of the heat

lmao... I didn't think of that.. I have to pass that on to Hitch, who took one for the team and posted it on Bela's board... sadly Cham screamed bloody murder, Bela removed it and banned Hitch.

She truly needs a visit with a doctor.

its been raining here on and off for two days now.. which is great cause the temps are back to what they normally are for this time of the year... 40's at night and 60's during the day.. That week of nothing but 80's was a killer.

Ugh... 95 today and tomorrow.
Any chance Fall is just around the corner? ;)

Spent another lazy weekend doing pretty much nothing. Besides the usual of mowing the lawn.

not hot here yet... 40's in the early morning hours, warming up to the 60's in the afternoon and evening hours... Sadly the bugs are out and about.. mosquitoes the size of quarters.. bees, wasps, yellowjackets, flies..wood beetles are probably going to show up soon.. :'(
