looking at the weather forecast for the next couple of days, it looks like the nightly temps are going to be dropping down in to the 40's.. :b1 :nod

40s?! Brrrrrrrrrrr ;)
Nights are still in the upper 50s here, but that is so much better than 70s.

Been raining a lot here. Still gets hot, but then the clouds start building and the rains fall in the afternoon. I'm loving this years weather! Going to get hot and dry in the middle of the week, but the rains are supposed to be back for Fri thru Sun. Hope it starts cooling off for you soon.

NOAA forecast 80's here all week with a possibility of some rain, but who knows.. the return of the heat is not helping the fire fighters cause it is drying everything out again and they issued a burn ban today.. The fair starts this weekend and it always rains when the fair is in town.

It rained most of the night here. Woke me up at midnight with the wind blowing the rain in the window on my face. :)
Today was hot and no rain. Looks like it will be that way until Friday.
Hope you get your rain soon, but not if you are planning on going to the Fair. Let it wait until you get home.

Mark says half the fun is going when it rains.. He doesn't ride the rides, he just likes to walk around and eat the food.. I like to ride the rides and am not a huge fan of eating all the fair food.. At any rate, we will not be going while its raining as I have a cold and he is babying me(he yelled at me cause I was doing the dishes) so he won't take me anywhere that might cause me to get sicker.. I probably won't get any sicker though cause when I was in the hospital I was given a flu shot and one for pneumonia.. :nod

but Mark said the best way to get rid of a cold is to give it to someone else.. :nod

With my luck I will pass it on to someone at work.. and this is a bad time to be passing colds on.. Several of the people who relieve me for breaks are going on vacation.. I don't need the ones who will still be there to get sick..

That is the best way to get rid of a cold.
Give it to one of the ones leaving for vacation. ;)

don't want to do that.. My supervisor went on vacation last year and returned with pneumonia and was out of work for an additional 6 weeks.

That pneumonia is some nasty stuff. Had a friend in the hospital for a couple months because of that crap.

Still getting rain everyday here. In the afternoon and evenings. Loving this years summer. :)

We woke up yesterday to temps in the 40's.. I noticed that the leaves are starting to change but we are getting hot temps again, we haven't had any real rain, so the fires are flaring up and one new one started this weekend.. The weather all over the US is wacked out.. To much rain in so many places causing flooding and other places not getting rain they are used to.. Rain was forecast for this week, but now that changed.. I am beginning to think that we are going to have fires till the snow starts falling. Pretty scary thought..

Except, snow could start falling in a week or two. 40s isn't far from snow temps. :brrr

Rained again today. Not much, but every little bit helps. Going to dry out for a few days now. I was really getting used to an afternoon rain storm every day.
