If its just you, you should invest in a food saver.. and maybe some plates that have portion squares. Then you can do all the cooking for turkey day, portion it up in small portions and have a nice dinner when ever you want to. The bags are made so that you can toss them in boiling water and heat the food up.. I love love love my food saver. |

We have fresh apples which is why he is thinking about making an apple pie. We have to hit the store tomorrow because I forgot to get any Advil, so I might pick up some pears and get him to do a apple/pear tart instead of a pie.. or I might just do a pear cobbler. I introduced him to one years ago and he likes them.

I have to go to the store today too. Not looking forward to that madhouse. At least I can sleep late tomorrow and watch football all day. ![]() Well, that and play Battlefield.

Mark has been playing Diablo 3 lately and he gets so into the game that he loses track of time. I have the feeling I will be having to watch the turkey tomorrow if he starts playing the game. |

Video games can suck your life away. It is amazing how easy time can fly when you are playing games. I know from experience.

It's been like that for about a month now, right? You should be used to it by now, you probably don't even wear gloves anymore. :P We are going to get our share this week. After tomorrow, highs in the teens and below zero at night for the rest of the week. A little early for below zero crap for this area. Hope this doesn't mean we are going to get a bunch of those temps this year. |

We got above 0, but the forecast is calling for crappy weather by the weekend.. freezing rain and then snow.. I am hoping they are wrong.. the last storm really screwed this area up.. they found out that we had wind gusts of up to 85 mph.. which explains why there was so much damage. |

It was 9° when I got up today, and that is going to be the high. Brrrrrrrrr.. You are supposed to keep this weather up there with you, where it belongs.

what can I say.. Mother Nature is in a bitchy mood... it was supposed to be warmer up here today and its -11 right now. I would rather have that than the freezing rain they are forecasting for on Thursday and Friday.. |

How can it rain when it is that cold around there? It was 9 below this morning, with a high of 4. I'm living in an Alaskan Spring.
