I have an Xbox game that is a bunch of the old Atari games. We still play Asteroids and Centipede every now and then..

Over did it last night. Started playing online with my brother, and was still playing at 5 am today.
I'm too old for that crap.

Time just flies when playing online. Being able to talk to each other the whole time, no matter where in the Country/World you are playing from, is one of the best things. My brother started a graveyard shift job a couple months ago, so I haven't talked to him much lately. He's usually sleeping when I'm awake, so it was good to catch up. :)

That's why I play animal crossing on the wii with my neice. It's not an onerous game and its one we can play together.

A frosty -5 start to the day in Halifax :brrr Storm warning for tomorrow, guess I can't complain, it's been such a wonderful Autumn so far. Glad I got the grandsons busy putting the lights up over the weekend, at least now I won't have to freeze my fingers. LOL Have a good day everyone!

Stay inside where it's warm. :)

They are calling for close to 70º on thursday.
I may just BBQ the bird this year.

A woodpecker in the feeder on the corner of my deck about an hour ago. No easing into winter this year :)

this is the first day we haven't broken a record for coldest temp.. we actually got above 0.. at least for a short time.. its already dropped to -3, but its a hell of a lot better than the -30's and 40's we have been having for the past couple of weeks. We even got mentioned on the Weather Channel as being the coldest spot in the US... we were -41 that day.

I would have loved to get snowed in this weekend, but that below zero stuff can stay away all season.

That is a cool looking bird. There are a few woodpeckers around here, but they are plain looking, no fancy colors..

I haven't seen any since I moved up here.. When I lived in Florida, I used to feed birds in my front yard every day and had several woodpeckers that would wait for me to come out.. I had a palm tree that had rough spiky bark and I put little pieces of bread on the spikes.. I swear they would all but land on my head as I did it.

Woodpeckers can get aggressive.
As can these guys, and there are a ton of them around here.
