I like to wander, but don't get much of a chance to. Between having only one car, and Mark wanting to go wherever I do, I don't get out to explore much. |

There's hungry bears up there. You don't want to be wandering too much.

the bears are asleep right now.. the wolves, on the other hand.... but I don't think they have learned how to open car doors.. lest not the 4 legged variety. |

when I lived in Florida, I tended to wander a lot just to satisfy my curiosity... to see where the road would take me... Do that up here, and you are liable to get your ass shot(especially during the summer when the pot farmers are growing there stuff) |

A lot of pot is grown up here way out in the boonies.. Legally, you can have up to 1 oz of pot in the privacy of your home |

I google, but it looks like the law is a bit blurry right now. Supreme Court over-ruled a lower court on the issue. Says it should be decided sometime this year. |

a lot of people up here smoke it, out in the open, without worrying about cops.. Hell, I don't think the cops worry about just a joint or two. What does surprise me is how soft the courts are when they pick up someone who has something like meth on them for personal use.. We know a couple of guys who simply got slaps on the wrists... |

I don't know what to do about those types of drugs. The war against them has only made it worse. I remember about 30 years ago, cocaine was $100 a gram and there was no such thing as crack cocaine. Last time I saw anyone with coke, it was less than half the price. You'd think it would cost a hell of a lot more now, not cheaper. |

I don't have a problem with pot, I am so-so about hash and mesc, but so much of the other stuff.. its extremely addictive and life destroying.. I would like the laws to be harsh enough to address that and keep people who would willingly make it out of society. |
