Thank you.. so many people said it would never last and that I was crazy to do this.. I am happy that I get the last laugh.

It hasn't rained here yet, but it still looks like its going to and the weather gurus say its going to..

I wish I had a weather guru job.
I'd love to not get into trouble for being wrong.

Set our little pool up yesterday. It's just one of those above ground ones, but it sure makes summer bearable.
Now that it is up, I'm sure next weekend will be cold and rainy.

Been cold and rainy here for the last couple of days.. not that I am complaining cause its kept the heat at bay.. The temps dropped down into the mid 40's last night and haven't gotten out of the low 50's at all today.. We had to turn the heaters on in our offices today cause we were freezing.

I'd love that right now. Been in the 90s most of this week.
Now come this weekend, I'll be loving the 90s while soaking in the pool. :)

its in the low 50's right now but is supposed to warm up to the 70's by this afternoon.. Hopefully we will be able to grill tonight.. I am bummed out though cause the long range forecast calls for rain all next week and next Thursday is the Summer Solstice festival.. with me working, we will be able to actually afford to go and have some fun.. but not if its raining :(

This will be the one time the weather guru's will have it right... :grrr

Go anyway.. Rain is a good thing.
It's the planet's power wash system.

Just don't catch drops on your tongue, until it's rained for few minutes.

There is a festival here this weekend I think I might attend.
On Sunday maybe.. Working on Saturday.

it depends on how hard its raining and if lightening is involved.. I don't relish being bbq'ed..

Yeah, but you'd be warm. ;)

Working half day today, but at least it's nice and cool this morning.
Not that it will last. Nothing but blue sky and sun out there.

Its beautiful here right now. I woke up to 48° and sunshine. The forecast calls for highs in the low 70's, so it should be nice today.. I am gonna wake Mark up in a couple of hours and we will go hit the green market then go to the grand opening of one of the stores up here that had a major renovation that took two years to complete. I have a chicken in the freezer that I am gonna pull out so we can roast it on the grill..

Life is good.. :nod

Sounds like you had a good Saturday.
Did some grilling last night myself. T-bones, very tasty.
Today was a scorcher but the pool was still cold, so it all evened out. :)
Tomorrow is going to suck, supposed to be close to 100.

I didn't remember to pull the chicken out till late today, so we will do it tomorrow on the grill, if it doesn't rain, if it does, I will bake it in the oven with stuffing and make chicken soup with the left overs.. Mark loves my chicken and dumplings.

Its good that you have the pool, but when it hits 100, isn't it like being in the bathtub?

I love dumplings!

The nights tend to stay pretty cool, except for maybe a week or three in the middle of summer, so the water never gets too warm.
