Mark went in at 7 am and won't get of till 3 PM.. It rained on and off here yesterday so the house was cool last night.. its overcast here today and is currently 60.. I hope it isn't going to rain at least till after midnight cause we got a couple of nice big t-bones to bbq.. I wanted ribs, but I balked at the price per pound for them.. $4.99/ pound is outrageous.. . so we won't be having ribs till the price per pound drops a little..

Damn, that seems high for ribs. I don't eat ribs very often, but if T-bones were cheaper, something is wrong up there in Alaskaville.

Not doing much here today. All fireworks shows were canceled due to the fire danger. Maybe I'll grill a burger and play some games.

The price for the T-bones per pound is higher, difference is that we are paying for a lot of meat as opposed to a lot of bone like you get with ribs.

Kids are shooting off fireworks here, but there isn't an organized show here since we still have 24 hours of light, but we will have fireworks next month on the last night of the fair.. Most of the fireworks shows happen during December, after holiday bazaars, the Winter Solstice festival and on New Years Eve.

Ahhh.. That makes sense. I was thinking how can ribs cost more, they have no meat. :)

This was the quietest 4th I think I've ever seen. Heard about 3 maybe 4 firecrackers go off during the night.
Today is supposed to be the last day of heat for awhile. This weekend isn't going to get out of the 70s with rain both days. :b1

Must have been a glitch.
What would a message board be, without a few glitches? :)

What's a Magic tournament? Is he a magician?

Weekend was good here. Warm enough both days to get a little pool time, but cool and rainy in the afternoon.

Magic is a card game.... I really can't explain it, even after living here for 6 years. He is addicted to it and he has approx 85,000 magic cards in our living room..Seriously!

Maybe this will explain it. Magic

That sounds familiar. Don't think I have ever played, but I've heard about it somewhere.
I'd call Mark a geek, but I was up until almost 5 AM Sat playing online video games with my brother, so I don't think I'm one to talk. ;)

I want that one, but I still have a bunch I haven't played yet, so I can wait till the price drops. Played online again last night with my brother. I have to stop doing that on work nights. :(

NO!

He already has an x-box360, a play station 3, a portable DVD player, an Ipod.. and his damn cards.. he has plenty of things to amuse himself with.. I have just the computer and the TV when he isn't home.

But we do have 3 computers, a router and the hookup where he can get online if he wanted to.. cept when he does, it slows down both the computers down to a slow creep..

The online gaming still amazes me.
All the computer crap amazes me. Wish I could pop up about 50 to 70 years and see what will come next.

Geno is one creepy crawly weirdo.. I imagine he is blowing off steam, but if he can track down who you are, he will give it the old college try..

I still say we ought to make them think you are Bloodgood, and watch him spin his wheels like crazy..

Maybe he will spin them so hard he will bury himself so deep he can never dig his way out!
