March 1802: The General in charge of the Swedish Coastal Fleet has proposed that a significant number of small ships be constructed to serve as a general reserve in case of war. In addition he also made it clear that the formation of a coastal squadron of ships in Swedish Pomerania is seen as imperative. The initiative now lays with the King and treasury to see if such a plan would be possible. Edited by Sweden, Sep 2 2013, 03:02 PM.
