Hello, Perhaps someone can help me with a windows sharing problem I've run into. I've already able to access my mac os x server from work by opening up the correct port on the work router. I have it so that a mac filesharing connection with the right port to our static IP maps to the correct computer. So when I'm on my mac at home i can click connect to server X.X.X.X and then can access the volumes. I'm trying to do the same thing for my Windows 7 PC. I've mapped the correct SMB port, 445, to go to the windows server machine. On my PC at home when I type \\X.X.X.X nothing ever happens and I get an error. Am I missing something? Perhaps I need other ports? Since I've gotten the Mac share and other things to work, I'm not sure what to do for the PC. Thanks I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
