Well it's damn filthy reds. I have a long record of stomping on them. And these will even be in missile range... |

It would be ironic if, having made a song and dance about returning, I was immediately destroyed. |

You can still rp rebuilding a free society on the broken ruins of your failed Marxist experiment? |

Well it does put me in a rather difficult position if there's suddenly a communist regime in the middle of the Western Atlantic and I cannot touch it. (Much less if I'm supposed to cooperate with it, which is completely out of the question.) :/ |

That is to say I'd prefer either new-look Leagran or the old style regime but with a genuine possibility of fucking it up, because really, we would. Knootians have been old school cold warriors for ages. Would there be a revolution again or something? (Else it's a bit weird to explain why we ignored this commie regime all along.) |

To elaborate: I'd just like for everyone to be on the same page OOC on how this would impact intra-regional relations. Communists are worse than fascists in the Knootian book. Commies in some region far away can be safely ignored, but dislodging a proletarian dictatorship would be a first foreign policy priority. The RP would be war RP or, at the very least, supporting rebels and sending military "advisers" type RP. If folks are more into fluffy diplomatic RP and building regional institutions, this might be a bit of a headache. I'm willing to deal with it if Leagran is. And if everyone else understands and accepts that "no stomping on Noel" is not a promise I can make OOC, and that it wouldn't be fair to expect me to hold back IC because this is a nice RPer and we all like Noel. |

Well it's nice that we all like Noel. But, in all honesty, and taking on board what you say, I'm sure a compromise can be reached. An alternative system does linger in the background and, when the time is right, you can by all means assist in the removal of dark tyrannical forces. But if you want to proceed with a straight forward, good old fashioned Cold War then I am happy to. And I would add, in my defence and in the defence of the old Fiefdom, I always accepted that the majority of the people I RPed with were stable, liberal constitutional monarchies and never attempted to stomp round, denouncing people and pushing 'Little Red Books' through their letterbox. But as I said, I am sure we can work something out that prevents mass firebombings of my cities and still preserves Knootian dignity and the knowledge that Freedom, Democracy and Free Enterprise will win the day. |

Yes that is fine. I mainly want to make sure that everyones ooc expectations are on the same page. Not demanding that I get to firebomb you. Is there a governent in exile we could host? Edited by Knootoss, May 25 2011, 10:55 PM.
