Do they want to RP in the future? I know there are plenty of inactive nations which are intended for RP in the region and that's fine. |

Yes they do. And I would rather that Xirnium drop this matter rather than continue to insist that my friends are ejected from the region.

Why are they shrouded in secrecy? I think it's reasonable that we ask for more information about nations who have never posted IC and who no one but you knows, Knoot. Who are they? EDIT: I am not saying I want them booted. I am just asking for information. EDIT: The forum won't let me change my vote but I'd like to. Lurkers don't do any real harm and, if deciding who really is a lurker and who isn't is going to be controversial, I'd rather not worry about it. Edited by The Resurgent Dream, May 30 2011, 09:49 AM.

I'm happy to give more information. I just dislike the implication that they must meet up to everyone's standards in order to be allowed to stay. -New Tunaria has really been wanting to get into RP in NS and would have, had the Iesus Character RP not died. We were wanting to set up something new with Xirnium and one other person to RP vampire hunting stuff in Knootoss. I know the player from EQ2. -Alkorda is a player I know from STO. He wants to RP this elvish mini country but keeps getting distracted by other games. |

I am happy to have anybody who is RPing, was RPing, wants to RP, and is intended to be RPed in the future. Basically, I'd like the membership of the region to correspond to the IC understanding of what is in the region. Beyond that I was not seeking to create controversy. If anything recent controversy is beginning to persuade me that we want more countries in the region, not less - we want more people to RP with

I thought that we had agreed that we would discuss allowing new nations into the region, as we did with New Leicestershire and that Aztec guy (not Uncle Noel). I am not out to eject your friends from the region. For one thing, your friends aren’t you. That’s a joke I’m satisfied that you’ve answered my perhaps prying inquiries (and I thank the Resurgent Dream for repeating them for me) and I encourage you to get them to introduce themselves some day. |

Yeah Xirnium, I'd be formally introducing them etc as they become a part of the Western Atlantic region. For now though it is mainly a parking space with the only person they know. ![]() Btw, New Leicestershire is engaged with RL and will be for the duration of the summer, most likely. |

Also, I still want to change my vote. For one thing, it seems like almost everyone will have at least someone who considers them a legitimate presence and wants them to stay. More than that, though, the more I think about kicking out people who have apparently decided this is where they want to sit around and answer issues, the less I like it. It's one thing to have standards for newcomers but kicking out people who are already here doesn't rub me the right way. I don't want to do it personally. If we do decide to do it, I am just going to give Knoot administrative access to do it. |

That's true. OK let's close the idea. My momentary irritation at the large list of nations confusing me as to where I really stood in the WA rankings is a pretty weak motivation in the end to want to purge the region of non-RPers. Edited by Pantocratoria, May 30 2011, 11:28 AM.
