Committee 2A Global Economics Subject: Free Trade Proposed by: The Republic of Iraq The General Assembly, 1) Alarmed by the growing number of protectionist ideas/policies in the world 2) Noting that protectionist ideas and policies make it harder for third world countries, 3) like us, to expand our economy 4) Bearing in mind that trade will any and every economy grow and prosper 5) Realizing that good trade with first world power-house countries (ex: United States of 6) America can lead to wealth for third world countries, and help them become a better 7) nation 8) Noting with deep concern that the World Trade Organization has not made progress 9)on the issue of protectionism and is not keeping their promise about equality and 10)fairness 11) Fully aware that first world countries will decline the idea of free trade in order to 12) protect their own economy 13) Fully believing that trade policies regarding free trade can be good for both third 14) and first world countries 15) Recommends third world countries be more open towards first world countries 16) encourages developing countries to trade with more countries to expand their 17) economy 18)further reminds that other countries wont; change their ways easily 19) Trusts the WTO will work to make the organization more fair |

REDO I really hope that you didn't do this in 5 minutes, but (no offense) it kind of looks that way. I can't open your attached document for some reason, and since you didn't format the resolution correctly, I can't tell the difference between clauses. Your resolution is kind of short, and, although the preambulatory clauses are okay, you need more in the operative clause section. Your plans are kind of vague and simply more to them. I think you just need some time to do this properly, and you'll be good. If you need help, you can always ask me. Post a reply if you do. |
