Committee: Global Economics 2A Subject: Free trade Proposed by: The republic of Iraq The General Assembly, (1)Reaffirming its resolution, which encourages the support for greater establishment of free (2)trade, (3)Seeking for a system allowing for expansion of the free trade standard, (4)Realizing Iraq’s number of free trade agreements signed with other countries such as Jordan and Australia, (5)Approving countries enacted similar, and greater, number of free trade agreements with countries like Iraq, (6) Referring to the greater than forty billion dollars worth of petroleum and oil Iraq exports to countries every year, (7)Stating the over twenty million number of new jobs created in part due to the NAFTA, (8)Fully believing in free trade and political correctness, (9)Referring to the importance to an economically vital global market, in terms of effectively stabilizing exports and imports, (10)Taking note of the mutual increase of nations due to free trade and “working professionally,” (14)Further noting the threefold increase of countries who lift barriers and restrictions regarding free trade, (15)Alarmed by the number of countries who lack free trade agreement due to self rejection, denial, and misinterpretation, (16)Recognizing the sovereignty of each and every respective nation, (19) Urges for the United Nations to expand the current free trade standards and essentially not allow for trade restrictions under duress; (20) Endorses the idea for UN to create law making most to all nations engage in free trade lasting at least a year; countries for an additional cash surge from the IMF and/or the Word Bank in support of aiding third world countries; (20) Accepts a few nations drop out of agreement if they are not satisfied; (22) Requests Every nation, particularly countries in economical problems, to draft treaties with other countries to encourage free trade; (25) Recommends strongly all third world nations to sign for benefiting their own economy; (26) Requests the United Nations offer subsidies to countries signing, or trying to sign the law. |
