)Dear General Assembly,

)Having heard water scarcity affects an alarming one in three people around the world,
)Deeply disturbed water scarcity even occurs in areas where there is frequent rainfall and lots of water,
)Alarmed by the over consumption of people all over the world,
)Taking into account the numerous diseases that are water borne, such as serious diarrhea and cholera,
)Reaffirming that all humans need water to survive,
)Desiring a better world for all, which is one reason the millennium goals were established,
)Nothing with deep concern the potential consequences of not having water such as death and the extinction of all life on this
)planet as well know,
)Realizing all the lives and potential that will be lost if such a thing was allowed to get worse and worse,
)Urges that time and effort be focused on solving this huge problem in our world that will effect everyone through
)research and education of people around the world about the urgency of this approaching poison;
)Noting further that this will only be start of the fight against water scarcity and that such a problem should not be
)allowed to grow and become even bigger,
)Endorses countries already making changes into their infrastructure and also to their consumption of water in order
)to help fight against over use of water and therefore take an early stand against it;
)Invites other nations to join and change how they use water and focus on saving our already dwindling supply of
)fresh clean water that we have in this world;
)Further deploying that this is not something that one lone nation can fight against and that all nations must contribute
)in their own way like how the Brazilians help spread water around the world to countries that need it through the virtual water
)program,
)Calls for more action like this to be taken and also for educated engineers and mechanics to help fix and maintain,
)some sanitary stations and water renewing stations that don't have the proper expertise to maintain and fix;
)Draws attention to third world and developing countries that need more help with their water management
)and also with their sanitation station management;
)Reminds that in the millennium goals the UN shall reduce by half the proportion of people without sustainable access to safe
)drinking water and along with all the other goals are all related to water such as diseases through water and how poverty and
)water are directly proportional,
)Expresses its appreciation to those nations that are already working on this problem that the whole world faces;
)Expresses its hope that the fight will be successful and that we can stop water scarcity in its tracks;
)Welcoming all different type of help from educating and researching to actually helping with providing water,
)Confident that people will learn to value water more and then work to stop water scarcity.
