Contra Hard Corps
Sonic and Kunckles
Bare Kunckle (found a loose cart for $3...)
X-men 2 (Mega Hits)
Mega Bomberman (Mega Hits)
Cool Spot (cart and box)

And I'm looking at buying a Model 1 Sega CD to complement my Model 1 Genesis...

I found it funny I found a BK cart in the states, and in the open. At that price it just had to be bought.

Contra Hard Corps

- Best version of Contra *ever*.

Sonic and Kunckles

- When locked on to Sonic 3, I believe this to be the best Sonic adventure of them all.

Bare Kunckle (found a loose cart for $3...)

- A lot of people seem to think that once you play SoR 2(BK2) that you'll never want to go back to part 1...but man, I really like part 1...almost more than 2 at times.

X-men 2 (Mega Hits)

- Though a Game Genie is almost mandatory to make it all the way through, this is an excellent, excellent game.

Mega Bomberman (Mega Hits)

- I never did care for this one. Apparently it's a port of the Turbo Grafx "Bomberman 94".

Cool Spot (cart and box)

- A lot of fun, and just a HUGE game with some monster graphics. Very well done, and with a rockin' soundtrack by Tommy Tallarico.

And I'm looking at buying a Model 1 Sega CD to complement my Model 1 Genesis...

- I would, it's a great comb for the M1 Genesis. I really don't like to see them mixed(M1 Genesis with M2 SCD, etc) as it just doesn't look right.

I found it funny I found a BK cart in the states, and in the open. At that price it just had to be bought.

- Yeah, I can dig it. I'm almost about to buy the import version of CrackDown as it's available, and complete, at the local gaming store.

I own SOR 1, the classics release, but I like the game a lot, so why not. It was only three dollars. I was, what out of a snack size of those new, awful lobster bites at long john silvers?

I had Cool Spot back in the day, but I donated it to a poor family, along with a few other games, not my Genesis!

Yay, more games coming soon Tuesday. I'll be going to the almighty Game Craze.

Not that crappy store in Hollywood Video, the new york only chain that has some kick ass deals, about 95% of the time. Plus I sent out payment for those Saturn manuals and inserts to Kikko/Steve. Good man.

I wish I had more places to go retro shopping at...but I've pretty much sucked them all dry around here. :(

Everytime they have good stuff I'll buy nearly all of it right on the spot, but then they'll be sucked dry for a long, long time.

Think of the lack of games for a while is akin to lack of vacations from Presdents day and Easter.

And I'm going to buy the Model 1 Sega CD!!!!111

A little premature... but hopefully, a Model 1 Sega CD unit. After ballancing my check book (don't wanna fuck it up more) yup I'll be buying one. I've been a good boy, and I have some extra $$$ so why not?

Good for you, the Model 1 is solid....assuming you get a good one to start out with. Like I said, you'll hear stories of the motor going out on the tray...but just take good care of it and you'll be alright. :)

Got the Model 1 Sega CD today, it was $24.99. Just the system and the AC adaptor, and the trey works fine. When I turned the system on, I found a copy of Lethal Enforcers inside. Yay me. ;)

Rock on! Yeah, you wouldn't believe the amount of Sega CD units I've come across that still have a game in them. The X'eye I bought had Mad Dog McCree(ugh)...;)

A little pricey, but it's worth it. Now I can retire my Model 2... just gotta find somewhere big enough to store it.

I don't know man, I think $25 for a Model 1 SCD is about right. The SCD 2 seems to go for less though.

See it wasn't in their database, nor they where willing to sell it to me, because they didn't know what it was. *laughs* But I showed them my Visa and the rest was history. ;)

Well, I looked back in the past, I paid $20 for a Model 2 Sega CD back in '04, it was pretty complete except I don't think it had the sheilding plate or did it?

A few more things this weekend:

PSX:

Disney's Hercules - $4.99, complete. Always wanted to play this one, as it's a Disney Interactive title. Played it briefly this weekend, loved it!

Mission: Impossible - $2.99, complete. Another I'd always wanted to play, back when it was first out on N64, and then on PSX. I guess here's my chance...

Shipwreckers! - $2.99, complete. Looks interesting, was pretty cheap, picked it up.

Jersey Devil - $4.99, complete. Played a demo of the game years and years ago, loved it. Will enjoy playing through this one.

Pac-Man Word - $3.99, complete. Looks pretty cool, will be fun to check out(I think).

Arrow Flash

- Fucking great shooter. I actually, and oddly, have both the domestic and import version of this.

Tempo

- Top quality 32X gaming right here. This one impresses me to no-end.

Rocket Knight Adventures

- Quality Konami.

Batman

- Man, like Sunsoft's NES Batman, this one is just excellent. The gameplay, the graphics and especially the soundtrack.

Thunder Force 3

- I never could get into this series...but I'd like to give them another shot at some point down the line.

Shadow Dancer

- Old school Shinobi goodness.

Air Buster

- I read a review somewhere that just bashed the fuck out of this game. I have no idea why they would not have liked it...

Super Monaco GP 2

- I think I've got this on one of the SCD discs(5 in 1 classics), don't much care of it.

Arnold Palmers Golf

- Always wanted to try it...and hope when I do, that it's nowhere near as shitty as Tommy Lasorda Baseball was. ;)

Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle

- Not real impressed with it...but I do remember having a good time with the game when I first rented it.

Knuckles Chaotix

- Fucking rocks, I don't care what anyone says. A lot of people are hung up on the bungie thing, but really, until you just have to use it, it never seems to affect me. I love bouncing all over the coloful-ass levels.

Zombies Ate ny Neghibors

- Still have yet to ever play it.

Sonic Spinball

- As long as you don't go into it expecting Sonic 1 or 2(like the jerkoff magazine reviewers did at the time), it's pretty good.

E-Swat

- WAY better than the arcade version, and a hell of a good game(imo).

Saturn:
Shanghai Thriple Threat... damn back insert is kind of yellowed!?

- For this one, I don't think it'd matter...;)

now I only have 22 more Genesis games to get, and 3 32X games left. Then I'll finish Saturn, and tackle Dreamcast.
