Well, they've got quite a few PC ports out there, the most recent I can think of is that Sniper Elite. Honestly, I don't understand why *any* developer wouldn't port an Xbox FPS to the PC. Hell, they could have even of planned for it during development. Bel |

TOCA is quite good once you get used to the controls. Did you get the standalone version or the one bundled with Colin McRae 04? LA Rush is rather pants, though. Played the demo of Time Splitters 2... and the only thought I had while playing it is 'wish i had a keyboard and mouse'. Never been a fan of the Tom Clancy games, and never played Wreckless. |

Pretty much the only console FPS's I've played that I felt comfortable playing on the controller were Halo and for some strange reason Red Faction on PS2. |

um... one is just TOCA 2. The other has a disc of Colin McRae 04 and a starburst or something on the front mentioning that it's included as a bonus. |

Whatever it takes. But under $30 is good enough for me. The cheaper the better. I'm closing the gap on the Saturn right now, only nine games I truely want, and over 15, on a "buy if you see cheap" basis. Right now I am not focusing on DC collecting, but some of the Capcom games attract daff prices. My list is VERY long, but I think I am going to shorten it, or make two wantlists. One list is for games I truely WANT, and my second list there's games I'll buy if I see cheap, or get a good trade. I'm just getting so many good deals, and play value on Genesis games, and Saturn games so I am more focused on those. |

$30 and under you should be good for virtually any US game(well, maybe not Skies of Arcadia), and most import titles. Bel |

Well, RPG's are games that I'll buy if I see cheap. Example: Like hell I was going to pass up a mint complete Legend of Oasis for three smackers, and a mint cart only Beyond Oasis for the same price. I always like to have some fodder incase something happens. ;) |

Well, finally compiled a list of what i've left to get on the dreamcast for US releases: 102 Dalmatians Aerowings 2 Capcom vs SNK Ducati World Racing Challenge ESPN International Track & Field F1 World Grand Prix F355 Challenge Passione Rossa Flag to Flag (until it arrives of course) Hoyle Casino King of Fighters DM 1999 Looney Tunes Space Race Monaco Grand Prix MTV Sports Skateboarding Namco Museum NBA Showtime NCAA Football 2K2 NFL Quarterback Club 2001 NHL 2K Q*Bert Reel Fishing Wild San Francisco Rush 2049 Sega Bass Fishing 2 Soldier of Fortune Sonic Adventure 2 South Park Rally Spirit of Speed 1937 Surf Rocket Racers Xtreme Sports So, looks like 28 games I need to get completely. Also have a few games missing pieces, here's what I need for those: 18 Wheeler case and manual Jeremy McGrath SuperCross 2000 disc (mine's cracked) Resident Evil Code Veronica clear double CD case Roadsters case and manual Seaman disc (bought the game, but disc was missing) Skies of Arcadia disc 1 (mine's pretty scratched, but i got it free) Anyone who wants to donate or trade/sell, just let me know :) |

102 Dalmatians - Always wanted to see this in action...but don't hold out much hope for it being decent. Aerowings 2 - Is this a 2D game? A conversion of the NG game? Capcom vs SNK - You know, a lot of people completely ignore this one ever since part 2 came out and I think it's a goddamn shame. The first one is still excellent, but more of in a SNK-ish way. I have CvsSNK Pro, which gives you the two additional characters, and has everything unlocked *from the beginning*. God, I still remember how many games I had to play just to unlock fucking Guile! ;) Ducati World Racing Challenge - This is actually pretty good. I picked it up for $5 while riding high off my Alstare high. It's more sim-ish....but it's still very good. F355 Challenge Passione Rossa - Fuck, I hate this game so much. I hated it in the arcade, I hate it on the DC. I can just imagine the session Yu Suzuki held when he wanted to make it: "Ok, what I'd like to do is create a sim of a Ferrari racer....but like, since the control is so unbelievably realistic, only 2% of the population, of Earth, will be able to control the car for more than 10 seconds before riding off into a wall, or the grass...where things get even worse". SOJ: "Suzuki-san, you've done it again! Start production immediately! The shitty, sim-ish control will be the framework for other shitty sim down the line like Metropolis Street Racer and it's shitty, SHITTY, SHITTY sequels!" Hoyle Casino - This is actually pretty good, if nothing else, just for the stuff the AI says. Man, they take stereotypes to a whole new, and hilarious level. ;) King of Fighters DM 1999 - Fuck I love this one. Those 3D backgrounds rock, and I just love KoF 99, in general, the most. Looney Tunes Space Race - Runs like a demon! I love it, but I wish they wouldn't let you fall off the tracks(wish there was a rail. Q*Bert - Always wanted to see this one. Reel Fishing Wild - Man this sucks ass. I bought it after SBF and SMF, because two fishing games just weren't enough for me. ;) Basically every scene is a 2D bitmap with FMV water. No shit. San Francisco Rush 2049 - Gotta be better than the port on MATv3. ;) Sega Bass Fishing 2 - Not nearly as good as part one. :( Soldier of Fortune Excellent conversion. The one thing that really, really, really hurts it are the 45 second+ loads. If you can put up with them though(and I did, back before I had a PC) it really is like playing the PC game with all options turned up and at a decent res. Sonic Adventure 2 - Fucking SA2...man, what happened? The Sonic and Shadow bits are the only ones worth playing. The Knuckles and Rouge parts make me want to take a jackhammer to my testicles. Spirit of Speed 1937 - I've heard this is really, really bad...but I still would like to see it. Surf Rocket Racers - Always wanted to try it, looks alright. Bel |
