You can *try* electrical tape, but I've asked about the glue option over in RGVS and was told it wouldn't be a very good idea at all. Usually if you push them in there *really* good you can go quite a while without having to dick with them again. As for being pissed, I agree. In fact, I got my 32X when they were $29.99 at Toys R Us(never could afford one when they were $150 or $79) and when it started doing to me what yours is doing to you, there were no FAQs or help guides for it, so I just figured it was broke and gave it to a buddy. Got another one, way down the line, for free. It too started doing that, but I had help this time around. :)
That's a good call. I like the few systems/electronics out there that do it that way. Then you don't have to loose a space on your surge protector because the fucking bricks are taking up two. What kills me: The Xbox did it right, they just had a cord, then the cord recall came through and the replacement is brick-like at the end where you plug it in. :P Bel |

Thats because the XBox will burn your house down quicker than a Dell laptop battery! Its at least a small brick. Have you had to trip your reset button on your XBox brick yet? Mine throws anytime the power goes out or the cat steps on it. Back in the day (I was still pissed at M$ for Shenmue II being cancelled), I would troll with that a little bit, "XBox will burn your house down, its a fire hazard."...and look I was right all along. |

I've yet to have to hit to reset button the Xbox brick, and you're right it is smaller...and on most surge protectors it will only take up one space...but still, I was a little upset. Man, I still can't believe some of the footage on those laptops going up in flames. Fucking wild. You know what's *really* amusing though? It's the batteries that do it...and guess who makes'em? ;) I'll give you one guess... Bel |

I had my shit registered and I don't remember if it was e-mail or snail mail but I got a notice on it and said what the hell. Big checkbook box from MS comes in the mail and I was like what the hell is this.
The evil Sony...boo...hiss. Yeah, I guess they do alot of Dell stuff like the Dell branded Trintron monitors. I read an article about it last night, that Lithium Ion batteries have the fluid under high pressure...better not shake that up or bump it around, your shit might get ignited yo. |

Yeah, I think MS sent me an email about it too. Came damn quick after I filled out the online form!
Same goes for the Apple battery recall, as far as I've heard those are all Sony batteries too. Apparently they were just packing too much into them. My Inspiron model missed the recall by *one* battery revision(phew). I'm glad it's not one of them, I'd have already had the motherfucker burst into flames while playing whatever game on it for hours upon end up here at work. ;) Bel |

I use a Genesis Model 2 and a Model 2 Sega CD. and a Model 1 setup, Genesis and CD system. Works perfect for me... Anyway... despite the whole job problems I am looking at getting a new bookcase, a freaking huge one if I still can... |

It's not a bad way to go. I found a nifty-looking entertainment shelve over at Target for $70 a while back...I may just go with it. Bel |

I got Flatout 2. I hope it is more balanced than FO1. The AI was crazy fast and the car smashing didn't even make it fun. Too tired to test it yet. Just listening to CDs. |

I picked up The Suffering: Ties that Bind for $8.99 over at EB Games. After going through, and absolutely loving the first I have high hopes for this one. Though noone but Noah will probably understand this next purchase, I picked up Yourself Fitness for $7.99 as well. Gotta check out the work they did with Maya... Bel |

Man, I've been tempted to buy that game so many times its not even funny. I just don't think I'd be able to explain myself if anyone saw it. |

Well, the only way I can get away with it is because most who'd see it know of my infatuation with any women rendered.
;) I don't know, I may attempt one of the workouts...see how it goes. Realistically though, I can see myself sitting there drinking a beer and nitpicking on how the thing is only in 480p.

Quake 4 - PC - new $30 Really like this one, doesn't run quite as good as Doom 3 does suprisingly, not bad though. Namco 50th Aniversary -XBox - new $20 This one is cool. Here are the games on it again: Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Galaxian, Dig Dug, Rally-X, Pole Position, Pole Position II, Xevious, Dragon Spirit, Bosconian, Rolling Thunder, Mappy and Sky Kid. Xevious had nasty slowdown on the PSX Namco Collection, its fixed here. Dragon Spirit looks great but its way harder than the TG-16 or NES versions. Rolling Thunder is worth the price of the disc alone for me, very, very good. Tourist Trophy - PS2 - new $40 Couldn't resist getting this one before its price drop. It really does play like Gran Turismo but you have to alot more careful and brake sooner and watch your line cause your dude will slip out real easy. Linksys Console Wireless Adapter - new $50 Best Buy had this one for $30 off, sale ended. Get this puppy hooked up once I upgrade my Internet then I can use that two month trial that will expire by the end of the year. |

You know, when this was first coming out they said that it'd be more forgiving on hardware and run better than Doom 3 did...but like you, I noticed it didn't run as well for me back on my Radeon 9800 Pro as Doom 3 did. Now, that's not to say that either one ran badly, but you could notice the difference. With the X1600 now, I have no issues running either of those motherfuckers. ;)
Though I wouldn't mind it for Dig Dug and Dragon Spirit, like you, Rolling Thunder 1 would have been worth the price of the compilation alone.
Awesome man, let me know how things go with that. My last attempt with a wireless adapter for the Xbox(the actual, official MS one) was horrible. I'd *like* to get one for the Xbox...but I just don't know. At any rate, this is great news as I finally got Verizon to drop that bullshit claim that I owed them $130 from over 10 years ago(that they didn't even have a bill for, it was just in their computers as me owing it). I signed up for the cheapest phone service they had(I won't even be plugging in a phone at the house, at all) and DSL. They say it should all be ready to go on the 7th. Maybe we can get together and do some Live gaming? :) Bel |

Oh, no doubt. I look to get it all ready to go by next weekend at the latest. I can take a look at the XBox games you have and send you a list of the ones I have. |

Sounds good. About the only one I need to add is Outlaw Tennis(got it for $6.99, new, this weekend too). If you find Doom 3 cheap, you ought to pick it up and we can go through it via Co-op. Gen and I did that once, it was fucking great. Bel |

Yeah, I think that, Doom 3, isn't that high now. The Outlaw Tennis and Golf are really cheap. |

I am *almost* tempted to pick up Outlaw Golf 2(the one that's online). I hated the way the first one played...but this one might not be too bad, if nothing else just because it'd be a really pretty chat room with something to do in between discussions. It, too, is dirt cheap if you want to try to get it. Bel |
