I hope you keep a couple Hot Wheels for yourself. Diecast car technology rocks : ) re Bel- Beetle is a keeper for sure. I was stunned to see it in a minty box for 19.99. That would be a bargain by Ebay standards. If you keep your N64 collection small it should be worth having. You just need to find a gang to play GoldenEye and WCW Revenge with now. |

Well, back when I had the N64, I had a small collection, but out of what I had, I only played two of them regularly. I kind of want to go back and get another one, but I lucked out so hard when I bought the first one(the person selling it in left the Ram expansion in it, but EB didn't catch it and sold it to me with the system for $25) that were I to go back and get another, I'd have to start all over. I only kept one N64 game, Duke Nukem: Zero Hour. Bel |

Oh I kept a couple of hot wheels. I was going to donate everything soon, but since I had the day off from internship/school I decided to get it done and out of the way. |

Years and years ago, I guess right about when Here and Now hit the radio. From there I got into their other stuff: Co-pilot, Awake, and I really dig a lot of their covers like Dangerous Type and Cruel to be kind...in fact, I like them a lot more than the originals. Bel |

I got some Genesis games. And I am *broke* until next thursday. A MINT Ghouls 'N Ghosts cart... my other cart has severe label damage, and looks like mildew , so I bought a mint loose cart. Another Splatterhouse 3... because it looks a lot better than my current cart, and it was cheap. And another Sonic 1... but it is the non-not for resale version that always shows up. It has some label resdue that should be easily be removed. I hate buying doubles... but yeesh I need some decent trade fodder. |

Well, I got this a month and a half ago, but it was so good I thought I would post some thoughts about it.
I remember how crazy people went over this and I just like "Virtua Tennis is so good, I don't think I need that game". Well, it is quite a bit like Virtua Tennis in that it is very intuitive to pick up and play with pretty much the same mechanic, press the button to swing and hold the button down to swing harder. It also has some swing meter timing thing for shots and serves also. Although I have not tried it online, but I have heard that the serve game kind of killed it because it was too easy to get an ace. I know that being able to nail +125 mph serves very consistantly is not that tough. I can see how that would ruin a game if all your doing is blasting a serve by someone with no chance to of returning. The one player game seems pretty cool, I'm not sure if it has enough tournaments to keep one busy for long though. You improve your game by training and the training sessions are pretty challenging most of the time. You can make your character look however you like and theres all sorts clothing to choose from. As I mentioned before, the controls are very tight. The graphics are kind of a mixed bag, the characters look nice, the animation is good but the stadiums are kind of bland, it seems like they do this weird depth of field thing that just makes the backgrounds all foggy N64 style. It is kind of cool that the crowds are animated though. Anyway, you can get this one for a song and this is one you can pick up, play and enjoy, even if your not a big sports game player. |

I guess guess it'd all depend on what you traded/bought the PSP for. I'm not real thrilled with the system myself, it seems like a slightly more powerful PSX with bilinear filtering(and the game's tend to support this theory), so to me that'd be a nice deal... :) Bel |

Yeah, I kind of felt the same way. I think if you dig the way T2k2 plays, you'll dig TS, neither one is particularly aradey (no Mario style flaming tennis balls) and are easy to pick up. I think the biggest difference with TS is that the single player mode will be quite a bit deeper. If you I had heard it was real popular online but when I logged on to it there wasn't anyone playing it but then again I had heard that online play was pretty broken. I would like to give that TS 2 for the 360. |

Have you tried Outlaw Tennis? I picked it up for, like, $6 on Xbox a while back and am not particularly liking it. It's a LOT harder than Outlaw Volleyball, or even impossible fucking Outlaw Golf. It's still Outlaw though, so it's pretty amusing...it's just not the greatness that was OV. Bel |

I'm going to pickup Shinobi 3 cart for a online buddy. He's pissed it attracts high prices, and there's a cart or two at the pawn shop for next to nothing. Gotta get paid first. |

I've never so much as tried any of the Outlaw games believe it or not. I think they have a combo disk with the golf game and I think its called Sea Blade but doesn't that one suck really bad (Sea Blade)? That reminds me, they had like 10 copies (literally) of Blood Wake at the store, I went back the next week...none. It only costs like $2, I'm sure I will find it eventually. |

OG is fucking hard. OV is awesome. OT is fucking hard. OG2, never played it.
Yeah it does, and you can thank shit AI and seriously repetitive levels for that. Sad too, it reminded me so much of WarHawk...
If you see a couple that cheap again, get me a copy too. :) Bel |

I have been, and remain, non-sequitur
|
I got jumped on for saying this a few years back. Apparently Fear Effect was the first, though it is worth noting that its developement cycle saw the announcement of JGR and Wacky Races, and it merely beat these two to the street. I tend to not want to give a game with flat 2D backgrounds credit for being the first 3D game with cel shading. |
