Games of the Mail-
Destruction Derby Arenas- PS2
Vib Ribbon- PS1 pal
Burn Out- PS1 japan
Burnout on PS1? No Burn_Out. It is a self described
"quarter mile illegal drag race" It has quick race and
story mode. The basic menus look gaijin friendly.
I traded for it expecting an arcade racer but this looks
promising.
Game of whim-
Resident Evil Code Veronica X- PS2
something to play after RE4

The Suffering: TtB is damn good...it's just damn hard, a lot harder than the first one. I still really liked it though.

BloodRayne 2 is fucking awesome. Wang bought it and let me borrow it(for the Xbox Project) and I ended up playing it for over and hour(rather than just getting the specs and turning it off). I've not ever played part 1...but 2 is great. So amazingly violent.

Hopefully tommorow, I'll finally mail out the Choplifter for the two PAL games, and buy a Mega Drive 1 SCART Cable for my Genesis 1.

I have a MD 2 SCART cable, but when I use the 32X conversion cable - if you wanted to use a Model 2 cable on a Genesis 1, the picture acts all funky. So I might as well buy the farm and buy a SCART cable.

I talked to a guy who makes 'em, and he'll be listing some tommorow and my paypal ballance will have the $$$

And that looks to be my last gaming purchases for a while. However, if I have any $$$ left over, well to cover the shipping. I *may* buy a Master System controller. And after that, I'm taking a break. :(

I bought a Mega Drive 1 SCART RGB cable. I thought a Neo Geo one would work, but I have remained in contact with the seller for a while, and he sent me the right cable.

I almost bought an offical Six Button Genesis arcade stick, but when I saw the shipping price, I about fainted... it was $6.66! And it would have cost $19 anyway. I'll wait a bit longer for one. :)

I have been, and remain, non-sequitur
I finally broke down and bought a premium Xbox 360 today. I've got more comments about it in the Xbox section. I also happened upon Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing for Dreamcast and Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past, both complete. I am excited about both games to be sure, but finding Link to the Past complete was definitely a real treat, especially since it was $17.

Traded in some Meh games at EB and got surprisingly good trade value.
Note to self- do that more often.
I picked up Phantom Crash afterward. 'Crash is a Genki game that features
mech battles in a ruined futuristic Japan. I suspect I'll learn a hard lesson
here... It was cheap...

Rita toy- don't forget the furry people! I got kitty a new brush. Nylon bristles
on one side and blunt massaging needles on the other. 5 dollars well spent.
Rita was a purring noodle and I got enough fur for a spare cat.
I also got a crinkle tunnel. Oddly enough Rita prefers to "crinkle" the bag
it came in. Also "tunnel" is a generous term. There is little chance my
cat or any cat other than a kitten or a ferret will get through it. On the package
it shows a full sized long hair comfortably inside the thing. Stick with the
regular fabric and wire framed kitty tunnels.

I'd trade some MEH games into EB, but there's not much I'd want to buy.

I'd love to trade some games in to the store an hour away, because no matter what I get for credit (which isn't too bad either, btw) it'd be worth it.

Let me know how this is...it's one that I *always* see a Blockbuster for sale, but haven't heard or seen shit of it in terms of thoughts.

Sounds like kitty is happy. Is she a permanent border?

Rita is kitty-for-keeps. Doesn't she look happy as my new avatar?
She keeps me in line with her many demands...
My boarding cat went home after his person came back from vacation.

Ah, I see. Yeah, she looks great as your avatar! Glad to hear you are keeping her happy...and unhappy puss is really a handful. ;)

Got Asterix and the Secret Mission and Air Rescue in the mail. I also bought another Mega Drive 2 SCART cable from Chaoticjelly.

My one from NCSX is shit and will be thrown in the trash. At least I didn't pay for a subpar one. I'll be hopefully be paying for Gekido soon.

And I shouldn't be buying games right now, but I'm trying to sneek some crap in. :)

Red Faction PS2 (2 was so fun)
Fatal Frame PS2

Hitman 2 Silent Assasin XB- I'm hoping the story is good. It is unlikely
it can or will match Blood Money. Contracts was awful. :(
edit- GRRR! Xbox Contracts in a HM2 case. Contracts is lousy on Xbox too.

Phantom Crash Impressions- the game takes a LONG time to get to the
point. I eventually got an armed and painted mech. The I figured
out how to fight and get money. I spent 65000 making my suit AI a
kitty-tar with bad spelling.
This game is OK when you get fighting but the amount of pointless text is
criminal. I wish I could arm with double shotguns... I'll settle for a machine gun
and a shotgun with shoulder mounted motar and heatseeker missiles.
The best graphic effect is the suit cloaks. It hasn't been a big factor yet.
