Sonic Wings Special and KOF96.

I never have played Sonic Wings, wasn't it "Wing War" in the US?

I used to have KoF 96, in fact it was my first ever import on the Saturn. Those load times just really kill the game, imo, even with the 4 meg cart's slightly faster loading. Now, KoF 95 on the other hand....

...doesn't have Krauser!

Sonic Wings is Aero Fighter.

Ah, Sonic Wings, my bad.

As for Krauser, I don't know that I really missed him. I know Terry didn't. ;)

I got Burnout in the mail today... didn't come in the orignal case, nor has the manual. Damn... oh well. I'm more pissed about the manual than the case.

Sounds like a sucky experience all around, no box, no manual, crappy game. All of the sequels were better.

Both Suffering games are excellent...but watch out, part 2 is damn hard.

I have the first on the PC... but it's a rather glitchy port, and it was a pain to get running. I really, really liked it a lot. Ties that bind isn't too bad either.

I hated it on PC, that lack of the auto aim feature really killed it for me(other than that, it ran fine for me).

One cool thing about the Xbox version is, if you beat part 1 before you even start a game on part 2, you get to choose which path you start out on, and I think it gives you some extra weapons. I haven't seen that kind of devotion to a sequel in a long, long time. It's just very cool to see developers having their software search your HD/memory card for saved game info on the first game, to give you something extra in part 2.

After installing the patch and having some patience, it ran OK... but for some reason I deleted it - I think I needed HDD space.

I remember when it was announced, I thought it was going to be awful - at the time, most of Midways games where pretty lackluster. But thankfully, everyone was wrong. Roadkill was pretty decent, Area 51 was great too, and I've heard good things about Psi-Ops, which I almost bought, but didn't because it lacked a manual.

Everyone seems to love Psi-Ops. I've played a demo of it...it seemed alright.

Though LoneCrusader hated it, I thought it was alright...

I'm kind of burnt out on FPS's, I haven't really tried to play a new one since Half-Life 2 episode 1, I think about picking up F.E.A.R, or S.T.A.L.K.E.R, but only because they make their names all cool with the extra punctuation marks. When they go on sale I'll probably pick one up, assuming i'm bored with Oblivion by then.

I just can't make myself pay what they want for these Episodes when I hear about how amazingly short they are. Since I don't play online multiplayer, the single player campaign is all I'll get out of it. Maybe once they drop the price...but then again, I wasn't really the biggest fan of HL2 in the first place. Now SiN Episodes on the other hand...

Have you played the demo? It's damn good, I think you'll like it. They say the multiplayer is exceptionally great, and you already rock so I'd guess you'd do very well.

I need to download the demo of this one, it sounds pretty hip.

Did you get Shivering Isles yet? If so, how far into are you? I'm not that far in, I just make it into that gate after whipping that giant's ass. I like to take my time...

I have been, and remain, non-sequitur
I picked up Sunset Riders for the SNES this week, along with a black DS Lite to replace the original DS I traded back in January. Also, I don't know whether I mentioned in there that I bought Wipeout 2097 for Saturn under the auspices that it ran at 30FPS. Now I need to get a hold of the Wipeout XL on PS1 and Sunset Riders on Genesis and I'll have two new comparison pages to work on.

I haven't picked up the expansion, I've been playing the regular game, and just finished closing oblivion gates to get aid for Bruma. I've been trying to do the Daedric Shrines quests. My character is only level 19.

I bought Half Life 2 Episode 1 as sort of an impulse thing, it was $15 a year or so ago, and I haven't gotten around to playing all the way through the single player campaign.

I've just been in an RPG mood for a couple of months, since replacing my video card, I play a lot of Oblivion, and Jade Empire on my Xbox

The Daedric quests are fun, and some of the loot you get off of them really rocks.

Wow, yeah, you really haven't played it much(the single player mode is said to be no more than 3 hours long). ;)

I bought JE a long while back, haven't put any time in with it though. :(

Unfortunately I don't have SR on the Genesis, or I'd let you borrow it. What I can tell you, right off the top, is that the Genesis version is *seriously* shaved down from the arcade and SNES port. The SNES port is a pretty accurate version of the game, and very closely follows the arcade original. The Genesis version is more like SR Gaiden, it's just some elements and levels of the arcade original. It was an early effort on Konami's part when they first started making stuff for the Genesis. Still, it's not a bad game at all...it's just really short.
