I got Guitar Hero 2 for $25 and a separate wireless guitar... but I still can't find Fire Pro... fuck.

I had a chance to get Contra 4 as well, but I got scared of anal-raping difficulty. My beanbag is yours for the kicking.

Sunset Riders Ending: I don't remember that at the end of Sunset Riders but I think that might be because I played it on easy mode. I'll try it on normal when I get back home.

The Genesis version has three different endings apparently. I found a 99 continues code and beat it on hard first. I just needed to see enough for a comparison against the SNES and Arcade version. I danged near beat the SNES game the other day too, but that Sir Richard Rose, not to mention Chief Wigwam (censored Scalpen), is way more difficult in this version.

Fire Pro Returns PS2-
Plays very well. The strikes could be easier like in Super Firepro X
but grapples are tight. The roster is all under fake names but you
have good clones of AJ Styles, Sting, Bret Hart, Vader,Lyger,Muta,
Chono, Akiyama, Kobashi and everyone one else under the Japanese
wrestling sun. You can rename people to the correct name.
The menu are a little twitchy but all in sweet English.
The moves rock the earth!
The match modes go from barbedwire to UFC. The hardcore matches
are very meh rated to me. I miss the electric cage from 6 man Scramble.
The greatness of the normal matches make up for this.
The only downside to this buy was my manual was in FRENCH.
What the fuck? An instant classic all PS2 owners who like wrestling should own.

Soldier of Fortune 3- PAYBACK-
I seem to have missed the story screens. My name is Thomas and I kill people.
The game certainly has gore but heavy slowdown too. I need to tweak the
brightness settings. The guns aim stiffly. Could be a matter of tweaking controls or practice.

One I realized this wasn't done by Raven, I lost a lot of hope for it. People are tearing it apart on the PC, so Gold only knows how it actually is. Am definitely waiting for the demo, I'll tell you that much...

The start of the game isn't too great. It picks up some once you get the shotgun.
The biggest help was going to control set up 2 (HALO-like) and jacking the brightness. The jungle is much more fun than the desert city.

-music is action movie classical- good
-guns are enhanced clones of modern weapons
-SOF 3 uses Master Chief type health. Not realistic but fun I suppose.
It worked out well in Darkwatch and Classified Sentinel Crisis.
-The gore is well, gory but the RAM limit causes enemies and their bits
to blink out at odd times.
-mounted Machine guns are useless. They are too inaccurate and leave you
exposed.
-the environments are too solid. Not a lot you can break. It just bounces
mostly. The textures in the jungle are pretty.
-pistols are guns you swap out for better guns like rifles and shotguns. They suck.
- you can sneak a little. Croutching in the tall grass and inching ahead to snipe is fun.
-the one sniper rifle I've tried with a scope was too slow and zoomy. The iron sighted semi automatic hi-power rifle is better.
-the way point icon is my friend!

SOF 3 is officially worthy. The story is Meh but the shooting gets wild.
I tried the 50 cal sniper on some Afgan drug growers. Not too bad and the
scope was OK.

Then I found it. The TCW- H assault rifle. Hits like a full auto sledge hammer.
A burst at a bad guy will likely send his limbs cartwheeling into space.
A body hit will make him fly like plane made out of wet meat.

I forgot to mention it but SOF 3 has Havok 2007 and GHOUL 3.
The TCW demonstrates this in spades!

Fighting Force 2- DC
Street Fighter II- SNES
Romance of 3 Kingdoms II- SNES (the most fun sim-war game ever)
Full Auto- X360 (just to see style defeat substance)

I hear it's really bad, but the demo kiosk they had at GameWorks one weekend had be drooling over the graphics.

Picked up Ultimate Mortal Kombat. Yes, the A.I. still sucks and There was serious lag in Wi-Fi. I used an action replay for single-player and to permanently unlock everything, including the three characters in UMK3. I wish midway would put MK4/Gold on the DS though. That one's my favorite besides MK2.

Picked up Call of Duty 4 (with birthday money), and just as I was about to crown Half-Life 2 as my favorite FPS since I just finished it, this game came along. This game kicks ass during the slow parts of the game. Pictures don't do this game justice, you have to see it in motion on your T.V. So. Much. Fun! Aieeee! My only complaint is that once again, there are no bots in multi-player. Is that really to much to ask for?

No you don't. Christ man, look at how unbelievably bad the small-ass polygon models look in the version of Puzzle Kombat on the cart. That is horrible. I can only dream how bad MK4 would look. :(

Bots really don't get as much credit as they deserve, and I too think it's a shame that a lot of games(nowadays) don't have any...at all. I love fighting the bots on UT...

Yeah, I dryheaved when I saw Sindell's hair. But MK4 could be played on an N64 And I was under the impression that the DS could handle that technology.

Naw, the DS is way less powerful than even the N64(which is sad). The N64 handled MK4 pretty well, in fact just about as well as Midway's proprietary Zeus hardware(that they made just to run MK4).

I thought MK4 looked pretty sad in the arcade(again, it looked like an N64 title), so I was really happy to see it in the form they originally intended: In high-res, with the original texture work and a machine to back up the beefed up polygon counts.

I picked up King of Fighters XI today strictly on an impulse, thus adding to the large amount of kick-ass games this year.
