i've been picking up dreamcast games pretty regularly... just broke the 175 mark for US releases a couple days ago with this batch: 4 Wheel Thunder Death Crimson OX MagForce Racing NFL 2K2 (Dreamcast) POD: Speedzone Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2 Speed Devils: Online Racing only 70 more to go for a full set... and then... VIDEOS!!! If I give each game 30 seconds, that would end up at just over 2 hours... but can you really encapsulate a game in just 30 seconds? Maybe I should go for 2 minutes each and make an epic miniseries... |

I've often times thought of doing something like that, limiting each game to around 15 t0 30 seconds, trying to do something that'd even remotely be as good as what Greg did on FORS YARD(http://homepage.mac.com/greggillis/) and the FORS YARD Tribute video(http://homepage.mac.com/greggillis/tribute.html). Would be pretty hip, especially if you could get someone to play multiplayer games with you, to get that footage... Bel EDIT: Argh, seems like the video is down. It's around 75 megs...Ben, should we approach Greg and see if he'll let us host it for him? |

I can always get multiplayer going. That's the best part of living in Southern California. And I'm way ahead of you on that video... |

That's bad-ass. I love pawn shops for stuff like that, as they have no clue as to the value of most of that stuff. In fact, that's how I got Spider-Man: Web of Fire for about $8...;) Bel |

The first age of empires really sucked with that population limit of 50, once you got towers up around your land, the game was over, there wasnt any way a conquering army was gonna get through that. Age of Empires 2 was a lot better with that Rise of Kings Expansion when they let you queue up reseeds for farms, but I really like Age of Mythology the best. There are few things more satisfying than sending in an army of Minotaurs into your opponents's lands, watching them knock human soldiers aside as they pillage. I haven't played AOE3 yet. |

Off to the shops! Cold Fear for under 10 bucks? Nah, I'm not in a zombie mood. Project Gotham 2? Nah, no car damage and the Kudos thing gives me MSR flashbacks. Tenchu? Too expensive. Game of the Day is- 007 Nightfire. Getting this game is a full circle thing for me. I played Nightfire on 'Cube in Walmart back in the day. I so hated that controller. The game itself tho' gets pleasing reviews and the clerk gave his approval. New X-box fodder for me :) |

It is a first person title. It appears to be built by the same Eurocom team that did TWINE N64. Being a Golden-Eye clone is hardly a bad thing ;-) It also has some rail shooter parts and DRIVING. I'm on a HALO 2 kick but I look forward playing Nightfire. HALO 2 turned around when I got the keys to the Scorpion Battle Tank of Death. Warthog driving sucked and Ghost bikes were a passing thing. It did take a long time to get used to the controls and the 2 gun limit tho' Snipering with an alien beam rifle also improved my mood :) |

I've not ever ordered off of EB Games.com...and am hesitant to do so as they make statements like "The game may or may not include original box, manual or other packaging and may only be shipped in an paper sleve". My guess is that there is no "may not", and that most games would end up like that...
:( If you try them though, let us know how it goes... Bel |
