How much you pay? I think mine was sealed and it was $10 around four years ago. Damn fine game, but I never played it much. I rember telling Shentar I really wanted the game back before I bought it. |

Today's finds, at another Half Priced Books: Blood II: The Chosen - $5.98(PC)(new, yes NEW motherfucker!): Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. I about passed out... Heretic II - $3.00(PC)(new): Have always wanted to try it out. The Better Dead Ratification - $1.98(Mac): Never heard of it, never seen it, no pics on the jewel case. Have Googled it, not a lot of info so far...I'll be interested in seeing what it is. HellCab - $2.98(Mac): Have always wanted to play this one....for years. Always looked so interesting, for an FMV adventure. Half Life: Further Data v.1 - $1.00(PC): Apparently adds some new characters to HL1 multiplayer, contains game updates and some new multiplayer maps....but past that bullshit I'll never even look at, I got it because it says it contains something called "Half Life: Uplink". Says it's a never before seen mini-mission. Doesn't even require the full game, oddly enough. Wonder how it'll be... Bel |

Today I went to the pawn shop and look for some games. I left with Beyond Oasis mint cart, but it came in an altered beast for the Master system box! and a mint complete copy of Croc for the saturn. |

Wow, that's crazy! I think I got BO, a long while back, complete. I played a little bit of it...but not much, sadly. Once I get my Genesis out of storage, I'll be taking this one one again. As for Croc, I thought it was a pretty good conversion on the Saturn. Thankfully, they didn't seem to just port it like so many other dev's would have. I really liked Croc, I made it to the last level...then I accidentally erased the damn save game!!! Argh... Bel |

Well, there was a piece of paper surrounding the altered beast insert, but on a piece of tape it said Beyond Oasis, so I opened up the case and there a mint BO cart was. |

Some interesting, and cheap scores this weekend: Alien Trilogy(PSX) - $2.99(complete). After playing the Saturn port by Probe, which oddly enough wasn't too bad, I'll be happy to play the original version. PC Stuff: Screamer 2 - $1.99. Remembered Screamer 1 back from the old days...even bought it a long time ago, but like all older games, it wouldn't run worth shit in XP, so I sold it. Was happy to see that Screamer 2 was 3D, so its chances of running XP are upped 10 fold. The pics of it look great, can't wait to install this one. Ski-Doo: The X-treme Snowmobile Racing Challenge - $1.99. Looks to be a pretty cool snowmobile racer. We'll see how it goes... Command and Conquer: Renegade - $1.99. PC mags rave about this one, it looked pretty good. Will install this once I get done with fucking Blood 2(ugh). 007: Nighfire - Free. EB Games was having a "Buy 3 used PC games, get 2 free" deal. Sadly, I couldn't find anything else, so I picked this up. Will give it another shot, maybe it'll do more for me than the demo did. The Devil Inside - Free. Originally came across this game when I found a few renders of a devil chick that were posted somewhere. Looked into the actual game, and it didn't look half bad. Was surprised to see it here, picked it up quick. Bel |

Well, Screamer 2 was a bust...should have expected it after it took me to a fucking *dos* prompt to install the game. Bel |

I don't think Nightfire on PC will impress you much. I just can't see the driving stages being good with a keyboard. Devil Inside is considered good for a Cryo Interactive title. Considering how hideous most Cryo games are I'm not sure what "good" will turn out to be ;-) Better than Pax Corpus, Virus it is Aware, Ubik and others could still be VERY BAD. Oh they are responsible for that Hellboy PS1 and PC game too. Evil people for sure. |

The PC version doesn't even have the Driving stages. Damn Gearbox software again. The Devil inside is a good game, but I haven't gotten it to work good on XP. Very unique premise on horror genre. I paid $39 on release, thankfully it wasn't my money. Good for $20 or less. |

Damn...I would have thought Devil Inside would have been easy to get to run on XP...but then again, I thought that about Screamer 2 as well. I guess, at least, they were free(or $1.99, depending on how I look at it). Bel |

Oh yeah, I haven't even tried to install it yet, so I'll definitely keep it around. Screamer 2 is the only one I've tried to do anything with so far... Bel |
