Speaking of vampire type movies, Kurt Wimmer, who brought us some of the greatest hand to hand and gun fighting ever, comes a new movie about vampires or something with Milla Jovovich. Here's a trailer over here |

I don't know about this one...seems like it jacked parts of Kill Bill, UnderWorld(of course), Blade, Transporter, Resident Evil and even Dead or Alive...and put them all into one move. Milla...honey, for me, please, let's get back to RE3. :) Bel |

Weird... Why everytime movie writers try to write something supposed to be "cool", they always make such a molotov of whatever is going on mainstream and end up with something so complicated that most ppl get confused watching it the 1st time? When I was learning script writing, the 1st thing I learned was: KEEP IT SIMPLE!!!! If you look at it, every great movie there was, always has a simple story: boy meets girl, girl meets boy, revenge, redemption, good vs. evil, etc... And although there's nothing wrong to search for inspiration in several media, just don't mix too many sources. |

Damn, well my ideal movie would be a chinese vampire western set in the post apocalyptic future featuring car chases in the desert at night where an evil boy meets a good girl seeking redemption while on the run escaping mutant zombies that invaded Canada until U2 shows and puts a stop to it all by rocking harder than they've ever rocked before. But I guess according to your rules about keeping it simple my movie will never get made. WAY TO CRUSH A GUY'S HOPES AND DREAMS DUDE!!!!!!!!!1 |

I'm sure that movie *will* be made...it'll be the movie version of Vampire: The Masquerade directed and written by Uwe Boll.

Sorry, but I didn't write the rules. I learned them from my college english teacher, Mr. David Alan Prescott (best teacher ever, this guy even has an entry in imdb.com), but you can still make a pretty good script, just think what you like, but don't make it too complicated. And also remember this: a movie script is not a exactly a telling the story, but is more a set of instructions for the director and actors. Or you can blow all this shit up, make a B underground movie, just the way you like it and pray it becomes a cult movie. Either way, your movie, your story, your choice. |

Dammit, Bel! Why did you have to use the Devil's name in the forums?! Uwe Boll hears of this and we'll see it as his next movie staring Gabe Kaplan and Pamela Anderson. Damn you, Bel!!! On a serious note: Darkwynd is right. Crazy off-the-wall movies may be good entertainment for awhile, but for that goddamn-that-was-badass-must-own-it movie its the simple stories that win out hands down. Just to name a few that fall in that line: Blade, Matrix (the first not the slap me I paid full price for this!? sequels), Batman, and other modern movies. Of course that goes for games as well (All those "I'm on a never-ending quest to save my girlfriend" games). ;) |

...I can't tell the difference between this and Aeon Flux. When I saw the commercial, I was like "DAMN! Aeon Flux 2..!?" like, it just came out a few months back when this commercial aired. And then I saw that is was...somethin' else. Honestly, this movie doesn't look good to me. I'm growing a little tired of these super badass females with crazy ass powers being the lone ones in the world. They're just like..BAM, they're there to kick ass with little explanation. I probably will end up seeing it next year on HBO or something... |
