Great job MS, with a nice collaborative effort of the spyware put out by Interactual. Fucking WMV HD version of the film refuses to play on anything past WMP9. If you've got 10, you're fucked. Picked this up today thinking "Man, wouldn't it be great to watch this movie in HD!". Yeah, it really would've...too bad it doesn't work. Looking over Google, lots and lots and lots of people have the issue....and, if that's not bad enough, you can't even just take the WMV files off the disc and play them with the fucking DRM getting in the way. In short: Avoid this at all costs, wait for the real DVD HD version to come out at some point down the road. Bel PS, I think I'll just download that torrent that has all of the WMV video files with the DRM pre-cracked and return the copy I just bought. :) Three cheers for piracy(for once). |

Finally got the motherfucker to work, what an absolute pain in the ass it was. Though the HD pic looks good, it's not *that* great. I mean, you can tell a noticeable difference in their skin(mostly their faces), but other than that it doesn't look that much better, imo. Of course, it's not real "HD", but damn close... From what I've read on all of the reviews, the older "Ultimate" version of the movie is the better buy(which is good, as that's what I've got). I guess I'll watch this, return it and forget about it from there... Bel |
